Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown an IHG Hotel

Canceled my reservation after being told there was a glitch in the system causing the room we booked to be unavailable. Waste of time. Looking forward to spending time in the city, wasted time booking with this hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The nighttime front desk clerk was very kind and helpful, though I regrettably did not obtain her name. Rose, who assisted us during checkout, provided exceptional service. She was kind, helpful, and graciously accommodated my request to split my check items into multiple receipts and confirmed my IHG Rewards Club late checkout time. Both gentlemen who assisted with valet parking were also very kind, engaged, and helpful. This has been my most pleasant hotel experience in Atlanta to date. The only tiny shame was that we were not able to use the beautiful staircase.

This the first time that my wife and I have stayed downtown Atlanta. The hotel was marvelous and beautiful. The staff made you feel special and very welcome. This will be the only place we will stay if we come again, and you can count on a few more visits, but this time will be for relaxation 😌

Hotel is very well located in downtown ATL. They don’t have a parking lot but you can use their valet service. This valet service was outstanding and prompt. I would like to give 5 Stars to all employees I encountered during my stay. Like the lady’s at the front desk and the hardworking housekeepers that keep the rooms sparkling clean.

This compact and bijou hotel, typical of the brand, is located in the heart of the CBD. However, it’s in a state of disrepair. Every door appears scratched and in need of a coat of paint, and the furniture is chipped or dented. The staff at reception were poorly presented, and the check-in process was painfully slow, resulting in numerous errors. Communication skills were lacking. The rooms are of a good proportion, but they’re dark, either facing a car park or a very narrow street. I had to keep my curtains closed 24/7, and the noise and light from the car park made for an uncomfortable night. The best aspect of the rooms were the bathrooms, which felt like they had recently been renovated, bright, and purposeful. The showers had two heads with a good strong water flow, and the toiletries were better than average and aligned with the brand. The coffee pods for the machine were also of a better quality than average. Breakfast was perhaps the highlight of my stay. The staff were generally more communicative, and the ingredients served were very good. It’s not a buffet, but a la carte only, and it’s quite expensive, so think twice before booking it. I’m sure there are other cheaper options nearby. Getting to your room involves using a double lift. The first one takes you one floor, and the second one takes you to your room. Once at your floor, it’s extremely confusing and poorly directed, making you feel claustrophobic. Much more could be done to improve this. Parking your car overnight is also very expensive, so plan for this carefully. Overall, this hotel is okay if you only want a room for showering and sleeping. It’s more welcoming than many other local ones, but be prepared to pay for it.
