I stayed at the Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center between the 4th of Feb to the 11th of Feb and, unfortunately, had an incredibly disappointing experience. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to my work location, but to say that that was a disaster of a decision wont be an exaggeration. I was greeted by several unwelcome guests—cockroaches in my 7th Floor Suite. It's safe to say that this was not the type of hospitality I expected from such a reputable hotel chain. The presence of cockroaches made it impossible to feel comfortable or relaxed during my stay. It was disheartening to see the hotel's standards fall so short. Although the staff was polite and attempted to address the issue, the infestation left a lasting negative impression. I was told by the staff that since they were sold out, they could not switch me to another room for at least 2 nights. even when they did switch me to another room on the same floor, the experience did not change. I discussed the issue with Hilton Guest Services as well as the GM of the property, and was assured a refund, but to my utter surprise, I was only refunded for the 1st Night of my stay. I hope that Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center takes immediate action to address this problem and prevent future guests from experiencing such an unpleasant stay. Until then, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a clean and comfortable environment.

If I were to talk about the negative reviews regarding this place, in the frame of a play, I would title them Much Ado About Nothing. Check-in was awesome and effortless, facilitated by Sean. We decided to take a photo in front of their lovely tree by the front door, and he jumped out from behind the counter an offer before anyone could object. He was exceptionally accommodating regarding every single question thrown at him. There are complaints about the breakfast, some people even going so far as to call it a continental breakfast. If you're calling this a continental breakfast, you've never had a continental breakfast. As far as I'm concerned, this holds its own against other brands within the Hilton umbrella, and even other properties. (a continental breakfast, for those needing an education, normally includes a snack, or a couple of slices of bread, or a bagel, and coffee. Juice if you are lucky). Bagels, omelettes, the wonderful and ubiquitous, waffle maker, yogurt, juice, oatmeal... you get the idea. Speaking of breakfast, I had the chance to talk with Ashley, who was setting up breakfast one morning. She also fielded my numerous questions, and would not let me walk away until she was satisfied that I was satisfied. Carltone wound up doing research and spent more time on my behalf than anyone really needed to, to dig up some information. The point to all of this is that this property is doing a bang up job in the training department when it comes to above and beyond service. Any of these individuals could be found behind the counter of a five-star resort, and they wouldn't miss a beat in their service mindset. For the price, you get more than your value.

I’m deeply disappointed with our stay at Home2 Suites in Atlanta. We were there during a very stressful time while our son was undergoing spinal surgery at Scottish Rite. This morning, we proactively extended our stay as we were told he wouldn’t be discharged until Wednesday. However, by 2 PM, the doctors informed us he would be discharged earlier. We immediately notified the hotel, explaining the situation and requesting to cancel the extra night. The staff was absolutely uncaring and refused to refund us for the additional night we had just extended this morning. They also wouldn’t even allow us to check out today, despite the fact that we live almost 3 hours away. This lack of compassion and unwillingness to accommodate a family dealing with a medical crisis was appalling. To make matters worse, our room was never cleaned during our stay, and we didn’t receive clean towels after the first night. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. We will never step foot in this hotel chain again, and I strongly advise others to avoid it if they expect even basic hospitality.

My husband and I along with our son checked into this hotel on December 11. We chose this hotel for an overnight stay just to be close to my son’s doctor for his appointment the next morning. Typically, when we do an overnight stay at a hotel, we are mainly looking for a clean room and comfortable bed. Before I delve into my negative experience, I will point out the positives. Hands-down, this was one of the most comfortable beers that I had ever slept in. I love the shower and I appreciate it having the kitchenette. The room was very spacious. That’s all for the positives. It was obvious that housekeeping does not do a thorough cleaning job. In our room, we open the fridge to find that there was I have drunk Coke from the previous occupant still in the refrigerator. The stainless steel dishwasher had obviously not been cleaned thoroughly because it had a brown residue which appeared to be all over the dishwasher. There were also corners and hidden places in the room where things were missed. However, that is not a dealbreaker for me. Now, let’s get to the part that it really upset me. I left my AirPods in the room by accident. My husband contacted the hotel and he was assured that someone would look for the AirPods and give him a call back. That never happened. So, the following day I sent a chat message personally and I received a response. That person was supposed to check and reach out, but did not. We live over an hour away, but on Saturday, we drove out there to look for the AirPods ourselves, but the front desk person said the room was occupied, but offered nothing to help even though the AirPods were still showing to be at the hotel. This guy was supposed to call but never did. Lastly my husband spoke with someone on Sunday who was supposed to check and call back but did not. This change my mind regarding staying there again for future doctors appointments that my son will have. Even as of today my AirPods are still pinging at the hotel. So one of two things, housekeeping did another half cleaning job of the room or an employee at the hotel has the AirPods and is waiting for them to die in hopes that I won’t be able to track them so that they can complete the act of stealing them. My husband and I have decided to not continue to call the hotel because the person it’s going to keep giving us the runaround. My tip to anyone who stays here please be diligent and do not under any circumstances lose anything of value and have to rely on lost and found because the staff will find it and keep it.

We were at the Home2Suites for several days. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is one of the best hotel staffs we have met and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful! We had a great stay! The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool and exercise room too.
