Had issues with this hotel. Came into it with curbed expectations, but it was BAD. ROACHES in one room and they moved me to another room where the shower was dirty and the water would not get hot. They refused to give full refund, and when third party tried calling to follow up on complaint i could hear them letting phone ring non stop without answer.

Not certificates where to began, I can with my children for work and I wanted to use my points at the same time as experience different IHGs to see where we would be until our house was finished here. First room, looked as though fights happened often to damage things and maintenance just didn’t know how to properly patch the wholes. The carpet was so stained. The second room had what looked like a per stain on the first of two beds. Upon further inspection I realized, the roof was leaking yellow something. The third room I had to just stay, to me the front desk guy was getting tired of the issues the rooms possessed and I apologized several times about having to say some it but this was not okay. He informed me I could go to another place and I stated I had no car since dad went to an event. The third room had dresser handle broken, a socket covering off (my 17 month baby found it) and the dressers them selves looked as though someone had been chewing them along the boarder. The front desk guy apologized but was no real help. Calling IHG to tell them all the issues seemed worse. I kept getting hung up on. IHG customer service is no help!! I was told to wait for the manager to call. Nothing. Next day when I go to get breakfast and told nope I have to pay 9$ I was asked to be spoken to by what I was told was the GM. She said she was told of my issues and apologized. Then she offered me my 9$s back(really, it was ONLY 9 bucks) , super nice lady but I was like , why is she playing?! I said , well breakfast was only 9$ and she says well points then??! What is happening with IHG??! This is so disheartening, especially when I’m told business people get all these points to stay for free and I’m a working mum, that pays her stay and I am treated so oddly. We where out on a floor that was known to be messed up be because the guy said , let me put you on a renovated floor..

This place was such a drag of disappointments. The restaurant that's on site...closed! Breakfast in the morning...forget what the ads say. This place needs renovations galore. The smell of marijuana was so heavy when I checked in to my room I had to change rooms the next day. I was moved to a floor where a baseball team was residing for a few days. The weed smell was intensified. I reported it to management. Georgia has not legalized marijuana. I was told they couldn't do anything. I asked to move to a higher floor away from the baseball players. I was told they had no other rooms. The staff, including the general manager, Shantea Reid, would benefit from a customer service class. Not because the hotel smelled like weed, not because I could not get a different room, not because the paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and not because the shower head was one screw away from coming off the wall but because they have no idea what it means to listen and try to take action to help a customer when a complaint is made. The day I was checking out, the manager was telling a guest to get out because he reported his sheets were dirty upon check-in. Avoid this place if you can help it!

Our 306 had hair on the floor and in the tub we had to find the nearest store and buy cleaning supplies. The hallway smelled of weed and mildo. The ceilings were warped and pilling. Bathroom light rusted. Old A.C and Heating units so it was very loud. Water was hot and the bed was Comfortable, but because of the bathroom floors and tub not being cleaned properly. We bought a sheet to go over the bed. So we didn't have to lay on their sheets at all. The cleaning crew definitely needs a training on how to clean. They need a good contractor to come in and do the whole entire place over

We booked two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. Checkin was ok, and the lobby was clean enough. The front desk clerk was friendly. Our room was decent. Not really dirty, but not sparkling by any stretch of the imagination. The first night was acceptable. The second night, some ignorant woman across the hall started banging on the door to her room and yelling for whoever was in there to let her in. Apparently the person was either passed out or something. This went on for a couple of hours. We called the front desk at least twice, and all they did was to tell us that the girl was locked out of her room and that they could move us to a different room. Wait, what? Why should I have to move when someone else is creating the disturbance? At any rate, eventually maintenance came up and spent at least 30 minutes drilling the door, I assume, to get this person into the room. They kept opening and closing the door (not even remotely trying to be quiet), apparently to see if the latch was working or something. It was ridiculous, and a terrible way to treat customers. As someone else mentioned, there was a strong odor of weed in the elevators and halls. I know that's difficult to prevent, but c'mon. I talked to a manager today, and supposedly I'm going to see points added to my IHG account. They refused to refund that night's stay. We'll see what happens, but I certainly won't go back to this location.
