Best Western Kennesaw Inn

blood stains on lightswitch, brown stain in sink, pubic hair in bed as well as stained or soiled sheet, bottle sticker on wall beside bed, chips along bedside at carpet...my brother stayed in another room and he got switched due to unclean room also. Needs repairs in bathroom as well as dripping faucet and rust areas.

I’m normally not one to complain, but when I walked into the door of my hotel room here, I had an asthma attack. The stench of cigarettes is so strong in the rooms here it stops you dead in your tracks. The smell alone is disgusting, but what was even worse was the amount hairs I found stuck to the side of the bed. It was beyond gross and I couldn't wait to leave.

Front dest staff was friendly and check in was easy. Rooms were clean and pet friendly. They had a hot breakfast that was good. Food service attendant was very friendly and outgoing. We enjoyed talking to her and she gave us tips on different attractions to visit.

Have stayed here for the past 15 years. Rates going up standards going down. Desk clerks used to be cheery and personable...now they are curt and disinterested. I got there at 6:30 p.m. and they were still cleaning rooms. Whole complex looked dreary. Whoever the manager is needs to get going on customer service and how to run the business. Much better when it was affiliated with Best Western.

Ida checked us in when we arrived. Front desk personnel very friendly. We asked for directions to stay off the interstate to a large venue nearby. Ida have us directions using secondary roads, which worked out great. The Inn isn't fancy, but that was ok with us. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was clean and well kept. As was the whole property. The continental breakfast was phenomenal! Gravy, bacon, eggs, bread for toasting, bagels, pastries, cold cereal, hot cereal, coffee, pancakes, milk, yogurt and fruit cups. The curtains in our room were excellent room darkening also. When the sun came up it was shining directly at the window. I was surprised when I woke at 8:30 thinking it was still dark outside. I haven't slept that long in a long time. Maybe it was because the bed was extra comfortable also. Laundry, ice and vending machines also available. Coffee in the lobby available all the time and a computer work center in lobby also. There is a large chain restaurant next door also which is a plus if you don't want to drive to find lunch or dinner. 2 thumbs up! Very close to the interstate is a plus too.
