I am one who does not normally leave reviews - whether good or bad - I just don't do them. However, in this instance I am ABSOLUTELY making an exception to that rule. I have been a Bonvoy member for years and I have stayed at plenty of hotels with family , business and my much needed miiTime days - saying alll of that Aloft at the Battery is truly in my top 5!!!! I cannot and do not have anything negative to say. My babE & I went to the Braves game this past week and I could not have asked for a better spot! We didn't have to worry about parking - the hotel is like 2 blocks away. We got to catch the vibe of the people, people were actually FRIENDLY - smiling - it was a vibe for real. I half-way don't want to write this review LoL because I want to keep this gem hidden LoL buttt that wouldn't be right. &&& I wouldn't be able to give Marlo her flowers - she got us checked in and we got a cute little goodie bag to take to the room. &&&& I have to say Kudos to Ms. Chantanell Grayer - she was sweet and very personable. Sometimes you don't get to see Managerial Staff or get to interact with them - but she was out on the floor as we were leaving and wished us safe travels - I didn't know she was the Director of Sales prior to our conversation - but the fact she (and Marlo) made certain to acknowledge us as we were leaving gave me the push to stop and let them know how great our stay was! If you're visiting in town for a game or even if you're in town and need a stayCation - this is your spot! Trussst me..this coming from the girl who doesn't leave review! Enjoyyyy!

Stayed at Aloft @ Battery while son was playing travel baseball. Although no Braves game was happening, the Battery area had a lot happening. Once parked at Aloft, you could walk to dining, entertainment, etc. Room was clean and met our needs. Don't expect a large room, but if you're using it for sleeping/showering you will be fine. Parking can be a little confusing at first. There is a garage and signs for Aloft begin on 3rd floor (I think). However, you will need to get on a garage elevator to get to the hotel lobby. We later learned that we can park on an upper level that is adjacent to the hotel lobby and that was more convenient.

Stayed here from March 11, checked out today. Our company purchased about a dozen rooms. Thought it was gonna be a great experience as the check in gal was wonderful! It was her first day, and she was very sweet. The room layout is small and very weird. No hot water whole two days so you'll have a 5 min lukewarm shower. The blinding light in the bathroom you can't shut off keeps the whole room Lit all night, bring an eye mask. Air conditioner works well but it's noisey. Bed was comfy. The mirror is directly across from your shower, so hope you are like American psycho and like watching yourself! Who designed this place??? Here's where it goes from a three star review to one. I always keep the do not disturb on because I'm only travelling for two days and don't need room service. After being in a meeting for nine hours all day, I come back and find my room door as well as three others propped completely open with all our personal belongings right there for anybody to walk by and take I was charging my Apple Watch and didn't appreciate them moving my clothes. This also happened to 2 of my co workers who were very upset. I immediately kicked the door stand out from my door and put the protection lock on while I was in the shower. They still tried to come in. I hurried and got dressed opened the door and asked what they wanted and they said they had to come in and clean the carpets no notice no anything. Then the couch and carpets were soaked all night. Wet feet sloshing on hardwood floor. Very hazardous! Good thing I had house sandals I called downstairs to talk to the manager. They gave me voicemail and he never called me back. Someone named Jeffrey. They said there were notices. Nope, none of us got any such thing! I'll attach the note in the elevator which who would touch it? They also had a homeless person in the bottom lobby when I left at 6;15 am. Skip this place! Much better choices in the battery to stay. My coworker warned me about this place as she had been before. No excuse to leave rooms open with no one around for anyone to come help themselves, or move your personal stuff. If your going to clean carpets do it to vacant rooms! I'm a rewards member but won't be coming here again!!!

Having a lot of power plugs in a room does not alone make for a good hotel. Where to start... Checking in, and no one appeared at the check-in desk for 10 minutes. When the woman did appear she acted like we were disturbing her dinner. No "hello," no "welcome." She just barked "Name?" I felt like we were reporting for the Army. The room had no lighting over the sink, hairs on the bathroom floor, no bath mat, scratchy hard towels. The room lighting was useless: cold white light and nowhere near the bed to help you read. And the shower water was always luke warm at best, with low pressure. When we checked out, the guy at the desk never said "thanks," or "I hope you had a nice stay." He just said "you're all set." Sorry, maybe this is satisfactory for a baseball fan looking to bed down for the night, but if you're thinking of coming here for any other reason, find another place that values you as a customer and provides a nice experience. Also--look at all the responses by the manager to the many negative reviews: they're all exactly the same response. A cut and paste job.
