Sonesta Simply Suites Atlanta Gwinnett Place

We went into this hotel excited as we had stayed at a Royal Sonesta before and moreover this location is dog friendly. When they say Simply Suites, focus on the “simple”. The rooms are cramped, basic and very tattered. The office chair had worn holes, they only give you two towels and will not give extras. In fact, we had to return our used towels to the front desk to get fresh towels. The hotel and moreover the rooms definitely needs painting and updating. The “free” coffee is in the laundry/gym room, which did not seem sanitary and was concerning. Our view was of a dumpster with pieces of car hoods and an old mattress. The one perk was the hotel is indeed very dog friendly. They provide great spaces and resources for your pup. But out of all of dog friendly hotel options that we have stayed, we would only stay here out of desperation as there is work to be done. If you have the budget perhaps consider its sister location across the street. I really wanted to like this place but it was not up to expectations.

Hotel was clean and nice . Zury was amazing and kind and sweet! She did charge me twice on accident for the $25 incidental but other then that she was amazing and the hotel ! Would stay again !!!!! :)

Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations! Great Staff Zury was amazing great customer service! I would highly recommend this hotel you won’t be disappointed. The Rooms and location were immaculate!

The staff is awesome! Ms. G makes sure you are treated like an All Star. My room is clean and large! Along with a full sized fridge , dishwasher and stove top. You can't find a better hotel in Duluth, GA

Had a very great time there the staff was very nice and went out their way to get me whatever I needed rooms very clean the cleaning ladies really do a good job overall I would recommend this place to anyone and will come back again. It was a great pleasant experience with very nice people respectable mannered, it was nice to go somewhere like that and they actually treat you like people not just like another person checking in they actually value the people who stay there
