Kon Tiki Inn

Very nice room in an older facility which seems to have recently been renovated with new furnishings. Very cute inn. No luggage carts. Spacious room with two double beds. Bathroom had now towel bars but plenty of counter space; tiny stall shower with curtain; decent water flow. The inn is located just across the Tamiami Trail at the end of a runway for the Venice Municipal Airport, so there was plenty of noise from flights passing overhead until evening. The Tamiami Trail bridge over the adjacent canal also produced loud rumbling until late evening. However, noise levels were acceptable (with earplugs) once traffic thinned out in late evening. Lovely outdoor pool.

The cutest and cleanest inn! Owners are absolutely wonderful! Great location to downtown Venice and beaches. The clean pool and pool deck are a great feature. Just a short walk next door is “The Old Salty Dog” which was perfect for dinner without having to drive somewhere! It was neat being able to watch the boats come into the marina and watch the draw bridge. We only stayed one night but will book again in the future. Thank you Kon Tiki for a great stay!

Friendliest staff you’ll ever meet! Rooms newly renovated and beautiful. Nice pool. Clean rooms and close to everything Venice. Free happy hour on Friday night! Highly recommend and will go back!

What a surprise! Room was very clean, newly renovated, spacious, with a unique shaped design. Pool area was super clean, as well. Good location convenient to local attractions and the Salty Dog Restuarant next door with water side dining. Deb, Shawn, and Paul were very kind and welcoming. Paul, the maintenance man (?) stopped by our patio table and said he was on his way to the store and asked if we needed anything! That was great! We stayed on a Friday evening and free, pour/mix your own cocktails were available as well a crab boil. Shawn also stopped by to tell us a bit of history of the hotel and provided some entertaining anecdotes. Putting green and electric bikes on premises, as well. We would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a wedding, booking three rooms for our group. Owners Debbie and Shawn were super nice and helpful and took great care of us. The rooms are updated and very clean with all the amenities you need. The pool and tiki bar offer a great place to hang out. There's plenty of parking and a decent grab and go breakfast. The kitschy touches like tikis on the door give it just enough Florida kitsch.You can walk to the Salty Dog next door (great happy hour) Wish we were able to stay longer.
