La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa Brandon West

I got no sleep at this hotel, the smell was terrible it like they are trying to cover up something. Also the front desk area was loud and echoed into the room. The room phone and desk light didn’t work. It’s obvious a lack of detail and caring of the property. The exterior was not kept as it should be, this La Quinta is not meeting company standards. I will NOT stay here again. The room rate is to high for this La Quinta it should be in the $60. Range.

I booked a room with two double beds for my friend and I for 4 nights. The room we were given has only one bed and smells so bad like years of cigarette smoke and mildew. The bathroom door doesn’t close because it is so warped, there are dust bunnies on the floor, and the whole property just looks stained, dated, and just really run down. The staff I talked to last night said they are fully booked and that the types of room I booked isn’t available. I am in the process of booking at another hotel and will be requesting a refund of the rest of my stay here. I would not recommend this hotel. 2 stars instead of 1 because the water pressure was good, the hot water lasted my whole shower, and the bedding is nice and clean. Still, just being in this room is an instant headache.

there were bugs in my room, they ran out of milk on 2 days we were there that included breakfast, the bathroom had what looked like mold.

We chose this hotel to stay the night prior to departure of a cruise the next morning. It was less than 8 miles from pier 6 Tampa and took less than 15 minutes even in morning traffic. The hotel is close to many nice restaurants. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. Great price for the quality and location. The breakfast bar was limited. Boiled eggs, sausage, toast, yogurt, and waffles. Personally I would have preferred cereal and scrambled eggs. I'll live though 😀

Disgusting motel full of mold they paint over but the smell is horrific, drug use on the property and lots of theft from vehicles. I would never recommend this place to anyone. YUCK
