Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore

We recently stayed here after a reservation snafu at another hotel. Maital (May) helped our family secure a room well after 1AM and patiently worked through the reservation system to check us in. The suite was spacious and there was plenty of parking in the adjacent garage. There is also a nice outdoor patio where you can eat breakfast which was a pleasant start to the day.

Stayed here for 3 nights. First night arrived about 2am due to cancelled flight at Tampa Airport. Maital on reception was great finding us a room, arranging a late check out, informing us of the hotel facilities and overall ensuring we were OK given the lateness of arrival / stress from having a cancelled flight. The room was excellent - very comfy bed so we slept late into the morning, comfy settee also along with useful kitchen area and fridge etc. Breakfast was good with hot selection as well as overnight oats which we'd not seen in a hotel before. We did end up staying 3 nights as said due to problems with re-booking from the cancellation - extending the stay was very straight forward keeping the same room. Seeing Maital again on checkout to say "goodbye" was a very pleasant finish to our stay. Overall, a great place to stay, not just for the airport but as a base to explore Tampa/St. Petersberg.

This place is clean and suites are good. Good place to stay with family. Breakfast is also good except fewer vegetarian options. Hope to find more vegetarian options at our next stay. Customer service is great. Maital did a wonderful job during our stay.

Because of a layover I decided to take four hours and check in to this incredible hotel after seeing the layout and the pool this would be an incredible destination for family also. My flight left prior to breakfast, so May (Maital) served me a bagel with cream cheese and made sure I had a hot cup of coffee. Such a kind staff person. So valuable in today's day an age. I don't know about the other hotels but this one was 5 + stars

The hotel is close to the airport and provides a free shuttle bus. The shuttle leaves to the airport every 30 minutes from 4AM until 8:30AM. The shuttle is shared with the 5 other hotels in this little business park. The shuttle is operated by A-1 which operates off-site parking at this location. It's about 10 minutes to departures. After 8:30AM the shuttle is on demand. You need to call to get picked up at the airport - expect a 10-20 minute wait. The hotel is relatively new and the front desk staff was very helpful.
