Hampton Inn Tampa Downtown Channel District

The personnel there were very helpful and plesant. What wasn't pleasant was the fact that when they built this location they didn't take into account soundproofing windows. You are right on top of the road and this is drag racing central. It was incredibly noisey at night that it made it very hard to sleep.

I highly recommend this Hampton Inn. My and I stayed here for 1 night pre-cruise and loved it. Gotta thank the front desk for being so kind to us and letting us check in early after a long flight. "Captain" helped me at the desk and she always called me by name and was so kind. WE had a corner king on the 6th floor and it was great for us. Bed was comfy and it was very clean. Will definitely be staying here again when I'm in the Tampa area!

We were really happy with this hotel. We arrived earlier than planned and they had our room ready (10:00 a.m.) It was very close to restaurants, shops, cvs and the Cruise Port. The shuttle to the port was very easy. The pool was beautiful! The staff was very NICE. Rooms were nice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel!! If we were going to back to Tampa for a cruise we would return!

The hotel is nice and close to river walk where all the restaurants and cafes are located, it’s about 15 min walk if you like to walk . The room is clean and well maintained, the breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were nice and hard working to accommodate busy crowd for breakfast. The hotel has coffee and tea station all day in the lobby which really helped and the station has flavoured cream - vanilla and hazelnut which was a plus to have. The outdoor swimming pool is so nice and has fire pit for warmth during winter time. it has nice seating and view of the city, the pool water is heated which was great during January . Also the hotel has 2 stations of filtered fountains to refill your water bottle so you don’t have to buy bottled water - thanks to the front desk staff who pointed this out to me. The best part of the stay is the front desk staff- it started with Lashawn who was so helpful answering my text messages before arrival and she provided great customer service during the stay. The hotel cannot be ran without captain T ( yes her name is Captain T) and her best sense of humour. She is so helpful and a nice person to talk to while entering or exiting the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel when you visit tampa.

Terrible experience at the front desk with a very rude girl named Mickey. Absolutely terrible customer service and awful interaction, especially for customers with diamond status to be treated. Do not recommend. Asked to speak to a manager and was told that none was on premises.
