The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club Autograph Collection

We wanted to love the Vinoy, but the trip fell short for a number of reasons. Had to request maid service almost every day. Our toilet and bathroom sinks did not function properly. Toilet was fixed, but sink issue persisted. Our safe didn’t work and had to be replaced, which caused us to be an hour late for an excursion we booked. I completely understand that things happen, but we never heard from a manager to confirm that bathroom issues were resolved and no consideration was extended for our trouble. Beautiful historic property, but service fell short. The biggest inconvenience was learning my daughter could not access the locker room to shower on our day of departure. I called down the day before check out and specifically asked if my 9 yr old daughter could use the facilities and was told she could, only to learn the day of that she wasn’t old enough. This was a major inconvenience.

What a beautiful resort! The pool, spa and lobby bar and coffee bar outstanding. Spa and all staff very lovely! Esp Jeffrey in the lobby. Our room was gorgeous and renovated! Great housekeeping as well. The special amenity on Easter sunday of the chocolates was five star. A real WOW! We celebrated Easter and anniversary here. I gave it one minus star due to the Paul's Landing restaurant. This restaurant is very beautiful overlooking the marina and pool but the service needs serious work. Staff is not well trained and the food takes forever. We did eat there multiple times because there are not many restaurants on site. Soon an upscale lounge and restaurant will open and I hope they have better training as the atmosphere and beautiful of the resort is unmatched. Also great location to many St. Pete gems as it is bustling now as a city.

I was having a rough day before I got to this location… Karlie and Aiden were the valet that I spoke with upon arrival… They’re cheerful personality, and outgoing demeanor was absolutely splendid and just what I needed today… I hope the rest of my visit I come in contact with people just as lovely as these two… they took care of my baby when parking it… And was very careful with it… Which was much appreciated

Very underwhelmed. The location is outstanding. The hotel is beautiful. But my excitement ended there. The room was nothing special. On our 1st day there, the room never got cleaned until 6pm. We were very unhappy with the Wi-Fi situation. We attempted to sign up for FREE wi-fi, only to find out you are charged $12.95 per day for Wi-Fi, that will be deducted at check out if you are a member. Seriously? I can go to a Holiday Inn and get Wi-Fi without all the jumping through hoops. We were charged an extra guest fee of $20 per day plus fees because we had 3 people in our room. At check out we questioned some if the charges and were told they don’t charge an extra guest fee. They removed $68 from the bill, but had we not questioned some charges we would have paid something we should not have. Bottom line, we won’t be staying at the Vinoy St. Petersburg again.

Newly renovated, the hotel is beautiful and luxurious. It is situated by the bay and has lovely views. The room could not be more comfortable and well-appointed. Beautiful suites. Friendly staff. Restaurants at hotel were great plus tons more right outside the door. Pool area was fabulous with comfy lounge chairs and great service. We loved it and will return!
