Hilton This issue was reported to the front desk and Hilton Honors customer service. Room #432 on 6 April was over run by roaches in the kitchen area and was going in the bathroom. No rooms available until the next day, we didn’t get much sleep and kept our bags by the window to prevent the roaches from coming in our bags. I was able to inform Akira Peterson who showed empathy for our situation. Offer to put us in another room and hold our bags until the room was ready. She indicated she would have maintenance spray the new room for bugs. She even offered to give us back a compensation in points opposite of Rick the manager was giving me back 5,000 points. No one should have a price to pay when you experience what we experienced that night. The new room #302, refrigerator was leaking and we call the front desk ti clean the water and also had roaches as well crawling on the wall when we woke up to leave Florida. We were supposed to stay until Sunday but canceled the trip due to this disgusting experience. When leaving on 8 April at 6am, I informed the front desk Romona about room #302 and I tried to show her the pictures but she said no need. I asked her has this hotel had bugs issues and she said she had not heard of this hotel having roaches. I thought that to be rather odd due to my experience. When I got to the airport I was speaking with the counter clerk and she ask how was my experience in Sarasota. I explained to her the hotel situation and advised her not to let any of her family stay there and she said “Yes, we have heard about that Home2 Suites and other hotels in that area. So for the front desk employee not to have heard about roaches or bugs is hard to believe if the airport employees have heard about the roaches at the Home2 Suites. I’m glad this trip is behind me and I will not be back for a visit.

We stayed at the Home2 Suites in Sarasota, Florida-1/4/23-1/6/23. It was an excellent stay and most accommodating. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and our room was everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay.

We stayed for a couple of days here and it was awesome. Ashley D. was the front desk person who assisted us and she was amazing. She told me she had only worked there for a couple months; however, her experience with hospitality is definitely apparent. We had only booked one night but decided to stay another night and Ashley helped us book the spot and reserve the same room for us so we didn't hav eto check out and check into another room. A++ service. Only things I can say that I didn't like is the bathroom door (which I was never able to find out how to lock) and the reallly bad wifi connection. Other then that, I would have no issues staying again. Thanks Ashley!

A perfect place to stay when in Sarasota Florida. The rooms are clean and well kept. The suites are perfect for a longer stay with a small kitchenette area. They offer free breakfast from bagels, eggs, waffles and more.
