Just wanted to give a big shout out to the awesome staff at this hotel. I was there several months after Hurricane Helene, and the staff was accommodating, and very helpful. Special shout out to Kimmie, Monique, Alan, Steven and Tara! Hilton should be thrilled to have this crew working for them! They made a difficult time a lot easier while I navigated putting my home back together. With much gratitude, Patty Osborn.

3rd visit to this hotel and we were sadly very disappointed this time. It was Hard to enjoy the pool when cigarettes are every where. Between the smell and the cigarette butts on the pool deck this place seems to be going downhill. Staff was friendly, breakfast was okay, but I don’t think we’ll return.

Been staying for a few months now and everything is amazing. The staff are very respectful and attentive to all of your needs. Monique and Kimmy at front desk have a great personality and is very welcoming. Darlene kitchen manager is very friendly and gives amazing service. Breakfast is good with a different variety every morning. Hotel interior is very modern and beautiful, 2 pools 1 heated, 1 not heated with a water fall and there is one hot tub that stays a great temperature. Great for a getaway with your family or friends with mini golf next to the pools. I will definitely recommend staying here.

After a long and exhausting day, we arrived at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, expecting the usual warm and welcoming service the brand is known for. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but that. The receptionist, Amy (who refused to provide her last name), set a negative tone from the start. She openly stated that she is not required to greet or smile when interacting with customers—a shocking and unprofessional attitude for someone in the hospitality industry. We had pre-booked our stay and were traveling with two small toddlers, so we were hoping for a smooth check-in. Noticing that Amy seemed frazzled, I politely asked if she’d had a nice day in an effort to lighten the mood. Her response? A sharp “Why?” followed by a threatening remark that she might not register us because of her mood. At this point, it was clear the situation wasn’t going to improve. I decided not to stay, as I didn’t feel comfortable or confident spending the night here with my family. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome and cared for—this experience was the exact opposite. Management needs to address this behavior immediately and ensure that staff members are trained to provide professional and courteous service. No guest should have to experience this level of hostility and unprofessionalism. I wouldn’t have given them a rating of even a 1 however, the review section doesn’t allow you to. I Will be reaching out to management.âœŒđŸ»

We booked a room at this hotel because we read great reviews online. However, our experience there was anything but great. For starters, we arrived after dark, and the area didn’t feel safe to me. The parking lot very narrow and is poorly lit. They required double the amount of most hotels’ incidental hold. When we got into our room, the smell was terrible. It smelled overwhelmingly like dirty wet dog! We were told that we could not move because the rooms were full, and we were told we could cancel but it was too late to receive any money back. Besides the awful smell, the room itself was in disrepair. There were stains all over the furniture and the walls, and the carpet was ripped at the bathroom door, which was cracked and filled with some sort of incompatible material. The curtains on both windows were terrible and did not close properly. This was especially bad because we were on the first floor. When we finally got the curtains closed, the length of the curtains blocked the heat from warming the room. I had to fold the curtain bottoms up and shove them in the window so the air could warm the room. For double the deposit, you would think the room would be really clean and comfortable, but the room we were put in was a nightmare. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere!!! This place was the worst place we have ever stayed. Worst EVER. Run!!!
