This was nice at first. And then it was a nickel and dime for everything. The assistant Mgr is rude. She is accommodating to Spanish and that's it. You can't work and stay there but the manager lives there full time in a room with her 2 cats. But barely works at all.

Very clean hotel, vinyl floors in rooms, nice bathrooms, the rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained , very well located in port Charlotte, close to I-75, the staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful , I have a very good experience, overall, excellent.

This limited service property goes exceedingly far out of their way to fail to meet the most minuscule expectation of every guest at every opportunity. The extremely poor quality of management provides no leadership for its totally uncaring, disrespectful staff and is here to totally serve their own needs, and have little or no care or concern for their staff needs by establishing a subtle criteria for avoiding positive guest interaction and guest service resolution. This lack of leadership travels far above the property management to its regional leaders who demonstrate the same genuine lack of care of concern for their guests. Property leadership is often late for their shifts, calling in sick, or simply not showing up for their own shifts creating a very troubling hardship for the staff they should be leading. These actions trickle down to the genuinely uncaring staff, who take these same actions with the simple responsibility to show up for their shift. The hardship that is created resonates in an extremely toxic environment for every guest. There is no genuine hospitality evident with no desire to serve the guest or resolve guest issues. My advice, choose any other property in the area. Stay away! Oh, and the best part, for a guest who has to stay at the property and secures a monthly rate, no... The rate fluctuates weekly, and just goes up! There is no use in checking out of this property early as they will charge your credit card after you leave for the higher, nightly rate based on the nights you actually stayed. Totally not an industry standard. The online reservation system will quote rates and monthly rates, which do not match the property's rates. If you think you are getting a great monthly rate of 62.55 per night for a hotel with no amenities, expect to pay 79.79 per night for the first week, and significantly increases each week. They do not give a monthly rate and stick to it. And weekly housekeeping, don't bet on it.

I'd have to start with Brenda who checked us in. She is very good at her work. She is knowledgeable, accommodating and personable! The hospitality Brenda adds to a hotel stay in more ways than I can say. I have worked in the hospitality field for many years. These days it seems a less hospitable experience, but Brenda really knows her stuff and she shines. The rooms are comfortable, CLEAN which is so important, and are really great for extended stays. Well done Extended Stay America, Port Charlotte, FL!!!!!

Terrible. Paid $165 for a room with a running toilet, dirty floors, smelly room, and overall nasty hotel. Do not stay here. The exterior looks good when driving by but dont be fooled. Their drink machine didnt work. No coffee, beds are like army beds. What a rip off. I am Demanding a refund.
