Staff never disclosed the parking fee and I was hit with a $100 fee. I could have used spot hero and paid significantly less had the information been disclosed upon checkin. I will be choosing a different hotel for my visits going forward, nor will I recommend anyone else choose this one.

We loved most everything about this hotel. The location and staff were excellent, especially the bartenders on the rooftop bar (our favorite place to be at sunset). We loved the short walk to the beach, pier, Walgreen's, a souvenir shop, and several happening restaurants with great food. The rooms are on the small side and don't allow for much space to unpack suitcases. The free breakfast was decent. Our only real complaint was the extreme heat of the hot tub, and we heard several other guests complain. That being said, it was one of the less expensive options, so some sacrifices were expected.

This used to be a wonderful hotel when first built. With different management; Rachel Wright and Maria it no longer is. I have stayed here the last three months as a Hilton Honors for business and pleasure. When I have stayed in prior years all the staff was very welcoming and happy friendly and professional. Inga has been there since the beginning and is wonderful very pleasant always willing to help and very knowledgeable. Andasia is great as well. Tiffany at the morning breakfast is also amazing and has been there for a long time she's always happy and willing to help!!! With the new management morale seems very down in the hotel and to many problems. Rebecca at the front desk needs to learn how to respect the clientele. I can understand if she doesn't like her job but she doesn't have to show it to the public or is she just miserable all the time??? She truly needs to go to charm school!!!! And forget about Rachel Wright she is just unbelievable to deal with lazy not wanting to come out to speak to guest tells them to email her when she's right there working in the hotel. Never wants to help any one or solve any issues that are happening within the hotel why she is a manager I have no clue maybe that's why the hotel has gone downhill and then Maria same as well doesn't know how to deal with the public either or how to compensate. Are you kidding me!!!! Do you want to have repeat customers or do you want all your clientele to disappear and go to the new hotels that are gonna be built in the area and that will be much nicer I'm sure!!! The Ritz Carlton, the Raddison and one other beautiful hotel to be built in Pompano within the year. OK so here was my dilemma I won't close videos and pictures so you can see the issues. My daughter and I had an early morning flight on Sunday when I booked a reservation with Rebecca she could've told me that there was a huge party going on the rooftop that night before we did not get any sleep and it had to be up at 3:30 why should I have to pay over $300 for a room that I couldn't even sleep in due to the loud music???? Manager Maria would like to give me 10,000 points which isn't even enough to stay for a quarter of a night. Are you kidding me after I spent over $3000 in the last three months at your hotel maybe corporate should know about this!! Not to mention your dirty air conditioners so I had to take the vents out to clean myself while on vacation because the room smelled like mold and mildew for how much a night???? I guess maybe I'll get 20 points for that one. Do yourself a favor nicer hotels in the area and better management find another hotel and enjoy your vacation I like to write good reviews where it is due and like I said some of the staff is lovely there it's the management and something should be said because that's what controls the hotel employees and everything that's going on they surely need more competent people working in management and maybe the place will be good once again

I booked this through Hilton online. There was no note on the webpage, nor did anyone tell me that there was no closet in the room. When I noticed there was no closet and no dressers, I went to the front desk and asked them to shift me to some rooms that did have closets and dresser. I was told by the unpleasant woman at the desk That I could not do this because it was a “separate hotel“ that had those types of rooms. She informed me that “all Tru by Hilton have no closets.“ As though I was supposed to know that. I told her I’d stayed in many hotels all over the world, and I’d never stayed in one that did not have a closet. I also told her, then, that I thought it was fraudulent in advertising to promote a Hilton Hotel for over $200 a night and not have a closet. At that point, she said that she could switch me the following day, but there would be a $75 room change charge. I thought this was foolish, but agreed to it just to get rid of the problem. When I checked out, however, I noticed that she had lied to me. It was not a 75 room changed charge, it was a $75 per day charge. I paid it just out of expedience because we were going to the airport. Addition, there was no “other hotel.” But he did was move me down the hall in the same floor, about 30 feet away. Seemed to me that the increased charge was bogus. Again, I was in no mood to fight, so I simply said I had not anticipated the $75 a day, but I was told it had been a $75 “room change charge.” The new unpleasant woman at the desk simply brushed me off with the statement that this was standard policy.
