Home2 Suites by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier

On Feb 22 & 23, 2025 we stayed at the Home 2 Suites in Pompano Beach, FL. This hotel does not care or accommodate people with disabilities. Beside the issue with the parking described below, the ladder in the pool was also broken. We need a handicap parking space due to my boyfriend's disability. Upon arrival there was an open Handicap parking space and we parked in it. A few hours later we noticed a vehicle parked between 2 handicap parking spaces on the white lines intended for wheelchair accessibility. We went inside to communicate to the front desk and was told they would investigate, Later on the parked car was still there, my boyfriend could not get into the drivers side door and we inquired again, The woman at the desk, Stephanie, said it was her car and that she was entitled to park there due to an injured foot. She laughed and mocked us when we took her picture. We tried contacting the manager on duty and was told there was none. Throughout the weekend there were parked cars in the handicap spots with no handicap tag or license plates. On Monday, we asked to speak to the General Manager. My boyfriend spoke to the assistant GM, Maria and she indicated that it was ok for Stephanie to park there because she had a doctor’s note. This is not ADA compliant. We called Hilton corporate to file a complaint and nothing was done.The assistant GM received the photos and never replied back.

The Home2Suites Pompano Beach Pier in Florida near Fort Lauderale was a nice weekend stay. Rooms are standard to brand. The property has a nice pool, hot tub and rooftop bar and food with multiple seating options. Beach is a 1 minute walk as well as the pier. Multiple dining and shops also in walking distance. Shares the building with a Tru. Our room had direct access to the pool with gate access from our patio Stay was on points and had to check out early and the hotel refunded points for the nights I couldn’t stay no problem Shoutout to Stephanie, Andasia and Rebeca

The hotel is clean & comfortable . However, to pay almost $400 a night and for breakfast to have to eat off paper plates with plastic spoons and knives and forks was not to my liking. The main drawing point for this property is location, location location.

We enjoyed our stay. Roof top was beautiful and very relaxing. Our room was very comfortable and the beds were too. Spoke to several employees and all were very nice. The restaurant that was beside us (lucky fish) was awesome! Front desk even gave us a coupon that we used. The breakfast was horrible but the workers were busting butt. So many guest trying to eat. I would highly recommend this place.
