Bedbugs in Room 456. Room was clean and view was spectacular however when the lights went out the bugs came out. Wasnât even offered another room and slept in car until manager arrived at 8 the next morning. Was offered free parking and 10K points on my member rewards because their engineer and Orkin didnât see signs of bugs the next morning. Really? Ok. Will go back to Airbnb or VRBO for future stays. Didnât even receive a call or email from Hampton after requesting one. Iâm not a priority so I will definitely try Marriott or Hyatt rewards from now on. I work too hard to not enjoy my vacations. Especially when the room cost $325/night.

Accidentally booked this hotel instead of a nearby property where we stayed last year. I should have known because I called a couple of times prior to arrival and never could reach a human being. Was bumped to the Hilton operator both times. Something similar happens while onsite. Another guest, who observed the same problem, put it best when he said, "There's either no one at the front desk or five people at the front desk." Well said. Wasn't acknowledged at check-in for being a Hilton Honors member which is okay, but it's awful when you have to ask for two bottles of water, which they hold on to as if it's gold or something. Housekeeping is a very uneven experience. First day? Bed made but trash left behind with towels on the floor. Second day? No service at all. Third day. Beds made, trash removed, but trash baskets left at the door. You could actually trip over one if you're not careful. No coffee refills nor new cups and forget about more water. Also, there was an awful sewage smell in bathroom. We ended up buying an air freshener at the Publix down the street and a huge vanilla candle. The place is definitely in need of a makeover but more importantly, there is a staffing issue as is true in many places. Still, the money we paid was a considerable sum. Hardly worth what was spent. I don't think we will return. Worst of all: we had to handle a noise issue on our own. I have seen other properties place a simple note asking guests to quiet down after ten. This hotel says they can't control the behavior of their guests. Huh? An area resident said there's a noise ordinance in the city so yes, they can. I guess like everything else, they do what they are inclined to do and guests must figure out the rest. Fortunately, I talked to the family myself and we ended up laughing about it all. God is good. You get lemons and make lemonade. I truly believe most people want to do the right thing if approached kindly. The rest? They will come up with excuses every time or do little or nothing at all. Sweet guy at front desk but I don't want to say his name because it should not be associated with a review as harsh as this. I will say what I told him in-person: keep on smiling. Keep your joy.

This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. There are visible rust stains on the baseboards in the bathroom and the caulk around the tub is dirty and needs to be redone. The entire bathroom needs a renovation for sure. The desk chair has visible stains as needs to be cleaned or replaced. As for the breakfast we only ate breakfast one morning and it was okay. The bed was comfortable. If you don't mind a old bathroom and so so room this would be an acceptable place to stay. I however will be marking this Hampton Inn off of my list of places to return too. It definitely does not represent the Hampton or Hilton brand well.

TERRIBLE experience and super disappointed as a long time guest for many years at this hotel!!! I had two reservations (one for myself, one for family) - and when the family member got there to check in, the front desk "could not find" my second reservation.... we went back and forth for 30 mins about it and they said it did not exist, so my family made their own separate reservation and paid for it in half cash/credit. Upon leaving i get two email receipts for my stay. One for my room which was correct, and one for a different room which I did not have.... they would not listen to me over the phone and were EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional they would not give me the time of day to explain that they charged me for an extra room.... this was a $1,215.80 charge that I received. The receipt for the other room said that it was checked into on tuesday (we checked in on monday) and that it was checked into after 11:00PM. This seems so shady and like an employee stole the room and gave it to their buddy or something. I had a 5 month old in my room and was not anywhere after 11pm and we arrived on monday so that is impossible and WRONG. Oh and by the way whomever checked into that room under MY NAME, checked in without showing my drivers license and card on file????????? That is standard hotel procedure to check that or you are not allowed to check in. After calling multiple times and being treated like trash - I put in a credit card dispute. I had to provide proof of my reservations and receipts and a written explanation. This process took from September 2024 to December 2024 and as of this week the dispute was resolved and in my favor as it should have been. This experience was so horrible - trust me when I say, I will be staying every year now at the Holiday Inn properties or the new Marriott property there - which by the way are much cleaner and newer properties with much better customer service and a lot less maintenance going on. I feel robbed (oh, because I was robbed that's right!!!) because I have been a loyal hilton honors member for over a decade and I have been staying at this hotel in pensacola beach for the past 10 years - but I evidently have made a mistake putting my trust into them.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKONG FOR PEACE AND QUIET! I REPEAT IF YOU DONT WANT TO LISTEN TO MUSIC BEING BLASTED LOUDLY, DO NOT STAY HERE. I have stayed here a few times in the past and I loved it here but to have to listen to music from some convention that they have in the hotel is really unfair. Hope they are enjoying themselves because I didn't. Then the lady at the front desk tried to play me crazy like it was coming from crabs the restaurant. They literally are having a whole party with a dj. I'll make sure I stay someone else next time. Clearly they are more important than the other hotel guests.
