We are currently on our last day staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek and are very sad to be leaving. We have had a week here and cannot fault the place, it is elegant and clean and the staff are polite and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurants and the pool areas where staff are friendly and attentive. We spent time at the driving range, the staff at the clubhouse were great. The whole grounds of the hotel are beautiful.

Where do I start. The pools were not very warm and the outside whirlpools were not hot, just lukewarm. $32 plus tax to self park per night. $20 per day to use the fitness center per day. Whirlpool in the men's locker room cold on 4/14. The food & beverage prices are very expensive. Chicken tenders and a Coke were $30. The Italian restaurant in the lobby was closed on 4/13. The dark gray carpets in the elevators were stained & needed replaced. The rooms need refreshed. The bulky furniture is extremely dated & nicked up. The old, small tubs need replaced w/ walk in showers. The hallway carpets are dark and stained. The entire gold paint and burgundy carpet scheme is not appealing in sunny FL. It does appear the suites are updated. They have an orange and gray color scheme (although the bulky furniture was kept and painted gray), and the tubs were replaced w/ walk in showers. I would rather stay at the Hilton Orlando, Hilton Bonnet Creek or the newer JW Marriott at Bonnet Creek.

A very average hotel that is very overpriced. I dont mind having to pay over the odds in holiday, and in some countries itâs expected. However, the price of food and drink in this hotel is way over the top and the quality is nothing special. Itâs a business conference hotel and thatâs it - donât go there if you want to feel like youâre on holiday as you wonât. The rooms are old and dated - the shower dripped permanently and the bath would just about fit a toddler. You donât even get a free bottle of water in the room. If youâre going to Disney or Universal Iâd suggest you try and stay on the park or on International Drive as youâll spend a fortune in cabs otherwise. There is a bus to Universal but that takes an hour!

Loved the entire place, pools, hottubs, restaurants, and outside bar. The only thing I didn't like was the automatic 18% tip. The problem wasn't the 18% because we always enjoyed great service. The problem was they had a spot on the check for "extra tip"....... I felt like that was enough because I was forced to pay 18%, whether it's good or bad. I felt that the extra tip was too much pressure for more. Just my personal feeling

I found Shingle Creek on Trip Advisor and decided it looked nice enough for my wife and I to stay while attending a comedy show at the KIA Center/Orlando. Check in was easy and the place looked top notch but, looks were very deceiving. My wife and I started off with two simple draft beers and a pretzel not to ruin our appetite for dinner. Two draft beer and two bottled beers along with the simple pretzel was 71 dollars? Say again?!?? Talk about sticker shock, I assumed I was at a theme park and really had no choice. Talk about parking (OUCH) so let me understand this, I pay 32 dollars for self parking per day, when was the parking lot created and how much did it cost since it hasn't been re-paved (EVER)! No shuttle, no security either! And then there was the room A/C..on and off all night I believed I was renting a room next to the airport with no windows. They do have a great store downstairs which is just as bad as the restaurants and the bill is scary as well. One fountain drink (small) a candy bar and a bottle of water is 9 dollars? And then there is breakfast. Didn't even try this since the price was absolutely a joke..went one mile down the road to IHOP for 28 dollars! Window dressing, could have stayed in Universal hotels or Disney hotels for these prices and they wouldn't even charge for parking! Read comments and choose for yourself! Don think I will be returning to this unless I bring MORE MONEY!
