Motel 6 Ocala FL Conference Center

It was great that it is pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog with us this time. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The kids had a great time in the pool! Not to mention, budget friendly too. We will be back for sure.

The staff and renovations have really improved the property, Angelina & Kelli are so helpful and nice. They really went out of their way for my family. Definitely would recommend. The pool was so clean and it was beautiful outside so we really enjoyed hanging out by the pool. The pool deck was really clean, and comfortable for my whole family, which isn’t always the case at some motels/hotels.

There is plenty of parking. Angelina checked us in, and she was amazing! 😁 The assistant general manager, Shantrell, walked us right to our rooms. As soon as we walked in we fell in love. It was very clean and very affordable. The next morning we walked around and looked at the landscape. It was beautiful.

No in room coffee nor coffee in the lobby in the afternoon/evening. No breakfast available. Vending machine ate our quarters. No shampoo, conditioner, ice, etc. No literature regarding hotel and other local services. No refrigerator, no microwave. No iron or ironing board. Only ice machine on site was not working. They kept telling me to give it time. Finally repair person came and slapped an out of order sign on it. Drapes were sagging. Only one trash can in room. Lots of ants in the shower and bathroom ceiling. Saw one cockroach and one other beetle come from the sink. Vinyl plank floor looked nice, but floor was so dirty that wet feet from the shower were muddy by the time we got to the bed. Sheets had stains. Rooms visible from the pool had sagging and broken blinds and large glass doors had sagging stained paper covering them from inside. Pool was mostly clean. The young man at the desk was friendly. Dog poop and some trash around. The whole place needs a major makeover inside and out. We considered it on the level of tent camping and since we were gone most of the time we just toughed it out for our two nights. We would not stay there again.

Not hot water, no shampoo, no conditioner, no hand towels. Called the front desk four times at 4:45am because there was no hot water. No one answered. I was booked for two nights. Went down to ring the door bell because lobby is locked after hours for their safety. I told her to cancel my second night. She was sleeping and that is why she didn’t answer the phone. Thank god I wasn’t getting robbed or there was an emergency. Update. They said it is cold out and the hot water runs a long way that is why it wasn’t hot. They don’t supply shampoo, conditioner or Kleenex.
