Travelodge by Wyndham Fort Myers North

Ice maker machine not working or empty. Vending machine did not dispense proper change. No landline telephone service in order to contact office with requests for service. "Computer" chair did not remain in the position I needed in order to eat my meal (it kept lowering itself).

Its a dump. The hotel is run down. Very old. Falling apart. There is a burnt down restaurant that greeets you as you arrive. The reception has an old entrance with decaying ceiling and dirty floor. The room I stayed in was disgusting. I was scared to get in the shower. The air conditioner in the room did not work, luckily it was cooler outside.

I had the worse experience I ever had in a hotel. Overflowing toilet and they said they’ll give us a plunger for us to fix it or another room, dirty walls, smells like weed inside the room because there was always people smoking right outside of my door, there was a fight in front of my room. Guys arguing about the drugs they sell and it got physical.

Room was large and immaculate. I loved the huge long desk/dresser...it was 8' long and held all our stuff on top with lg tv on wall and drawers below on one side. Huge BR vanity & good lighting, outlets. Nice nite stands with lamps and outlets, nice comfy chair in addition to desk chair. Motel was quiet (set back from the road) and we felt very safe. Staff were nice and gave us a 1st flr room when we called. Motel was kept up very well. Everything worked! good lighting in the room. Great location, great price. Will stay there again when we pass thru Ft Myers. Nice. Great bed and great pillows. Plenty of parking. AAAA++++++

Sketchiest association to Wyndham I have seen. Pretty sure there was unsavory business taking place outside of our room door. Sheets had stains on them, room smelled stale, poor mirror lighting. Would not recommend traveling in/out at night time......
