Red Roof Inn & Suites Pensacola East Milton

The old adage is "you get what you pay for." The Red Roof Inn Milton is not the Hilton but for the price point it is excellent. Dana (manager) and Rick (maintenance) are outstanding individuals who made our stay enjoyable. The front desk folk are friendly, the room was clean, the beds comfy, pillows were good. I had a nice stay and will come back. Again, Dana and Rick, just the best! Thank you!

Inexpensive, friendly & clean but loud, hard to find. PRO: only $89 plus tax. $40+ cheaper than competitors. Room large and clean. Staff friendly. Nearby parking. Convenient to re-enter I-10 but see below. Neutral: pets stay free. So barking slightly squabbling dogs in lobby. Breakfast basic no hot food but not expected at this price CON: room 328 towards highway was so loud I had to wear earplugs to sleep. Also heard couple through wall having sex against headboard. Very hard to find entrance to hotel despite seeing the sign. Must drive through Waffle House parking lot off side road. I tried to enter directly from FL281 northbound near red roof sign. Ended up forced onto I-10 eastbound with 8 mile round trip to return! Lastly if you are very tall watch out! Sharply pointed metal chandelier just inside door is dangerous.

Great location right on I-10, just perfect for us weary travellers. Extremely friendly front-desk staff. Clean, comfortable room, priced right. Dog-friendly with NO extra fee! Just wish it were warmer & that we had more time, 'cause that pool looked super-inviting! Absolutely what we needed, when & where we needed it. Highly recommend!

As soon as we walked into the lobby we were greeted with a foul smell. The pictures show a nice, pretty lobby but that is not the case. It reminded me of a psych ward waiting area. Once we got to the room we noticed the overall dirty look. Upon farther inspection we found a dead roach in the fridge. As we got farther into our stay we found many different small bugs in the bathroom as well as more roaches. There were holes in the walls from screws. 0/5 never again.

Clean looks new. Right off I10 and next to a Waffle House and gas station right across the street. Room was nice. Two things I didn’t like was the light in bathroom the fan automatically came in and the fan was very loud, there was no coffee in the room. They had coffee in the lobby area 24 hours a day but who wants to go downstairs every time for coffee? The price was reasonable.
