Selina Miami River

This hotel was recently sold and is now The Miami River Hotel. We stayed here for a wedding from Thurs to Mon. The room was old, run down and in disrepair. The LOUD Latin music played at all hours and was very disturbing. The staff was pleasant but not helpful. They did not take soiled linens or empty the trash the entire 4 nights we were there. Piled trash and discarded furniture littered the common grass area outside our room. The wedding venue was put together nicely and the bar staff was excellent. I would come for the event and stay elsewhere.

The room was the exact opposite of the pictures on the website. Broken window shades, dingy wall paint, and lots of noise! Bathroom was tiny and the shower had a window in it that was painted over (privacy). The grounds are very nice, lots of trees and plants. Did not use the bar or restaurant. Reception staff were friendly. Held my luggage till room was ready. Just didn't meet my expectations for the price.

Worst place to stay in, even for free it’s a nightmare. Mice and mosquitoes all over the place, old extremely loud AC condenser next to the rooms windows, impossible to sleep. Bathroom old with no human conditions. Staff knocking the door in the middle of night with no shame.
