Red Roof Inn PLUS Miami Airport

I would like to first say the staff is super nice and friendly. However, there is no benefit of staying here. There was no complimentary breakfast as advertised when we booked. The hotel is dirty and needs a serious face lift. The lobby had broken down ripped furniture, hallways smell awful, stains on the carpets, rust all over the light fixtures, walls and ceiling stained up. Interesting clientele as well. And there was a stray cat living in the hallway of the back building. Would never stay here again. I felt dirty when I left just an uneasy feeling inside the hotel, couldn't feel comfortable at all because of the poor condition of the facility. It's my recommendation to pay up and get a nicer hotel with better accommodations and conditions. Also, if you're trying to leave the hotel the traffic is horrible and it will take you a minimum of 30 mins to get anywhere and a $40 Uber ride.

Man at desk very unfriendly. Two different staff employees lied about prices. Bathroom dirty, second floor had strong Oder of Skunk Weed, paint peeling, toilet didn’t flush properly. Don’t waste your money on this Poop Hole. Entrance was deceiving it looked decent compared to the rest of the hotel. Love Deb

Sleeping Matters was hard floors was dirty rust in the tub room had a order for the price we had to pay the room was not worth it please if had to go out of town again I will never rent there again and then they charge you to park there when hotels suppose to be free.

Stopover after flying into Miami airport before cruising the next day. Easy check in, two double beds in the spacious room, breakfast was ample and included in the price. There was a little shop on site too which was handy and a fast food van if you wanted until the early hours of the morning. We intended to use the free shuttle but we ended up at the train station not the airport so got an uber instead. They offer cruise shuttle for $12-$14 dollar per person but we decided it was easier (and the same price) to get a private taxi to the port. There was also a pool with sunbeds which some people were enjoying the morning we left. We had a good nights sleep so would recommend for a brief trip. 😊
