Hyatt Place Miami Airport West Doral

If you are looking for a hotel close to the airport, this is the best option we have encountered. The staff to a person was friendly and helpful. They constantly clean the general area including sweeping the floors. We were very happy with our accommodations and will stay there again.

For a Category 2 hotel, they really did a fantastic job to exceed my expectations. I had positive reactions with all departments of staff from front desk, to the breakfast crew, housekeeping, etc. A big shoutout to the breakfast crew because they do a great job keeping the meals hot and ready and everything is in stock all morning long. So appreciative of their effort for the free breakfast. The hotel amenities are great. The fitness room, the pool, the meeting rooms, they even have a scale to weigh your check-in bag to ensure its under the airline limit before leaving. The room was great. First, they are comparatively larger rooms than other franchise hotels basic king bed rooms. It has a separate "living room" area with an L shaped couch and a large TV on a swivel. Everything in the room was functioning, clean, and kept in good shape. That alone was a big importance to me because so many times I've walked into a room and the TV isn't working, or the mini-fridge is hot and broken, or the A/C is knocked out. My one and only issue throughout my entire experience was the room had a slight odor to it. It wasn't bad, but upon entry it was always there. Aside from that, our stay was excellent and I would stay here again.

Hyatt Lv1 property. At early March, which is considered a high season, it costs 9500 points per night. To my understanding, after Mar. 2025, this will be pushed to a Hyatt Lv2 property, and will cost more points per stay. The Hyatt Place is in a relatively quite commercial neighborhood near Doral. The block has a number of restaurants nearby, including a Panda Express and a Subway. There are ample parking at the facility. It doesn’t charge a parking fee. The Hyatt Place doesn’t provide shuttle to Miami Airport. There is a shuttle to Miami Cruise Terminal, but costs $15 per person. The room at Hyatt Place is spacious, with two double beds and a living room area with a cornered sofa and a study desk. A small refrigerator, a coffee machine and a microwave oven is provided in the room. Breakfast is complimentary for the guest. It is served from 6:30am-9:30am during weekdays, and 6:30am-10:00am during weekend. The breakfast consists of a standard fare, with coffee/juice/milk, cereals/oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage or ham (alternating days), hash browns, tortillas, yogurt, cut fruits, oranges, bananas, and bagels. The breakfast is busy, but you can find a table.

As expected for a Hyatt place. The room was comfy and we enjoyed our stay. We were there for a Taekwondo tournament and is’s location was very convenient. Breakfast however, needs a little work as it was disappointing, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. My room needed some work - damaged bathroom and room doors with rusted hardware. Breakfast had a nice variety of options. The breakfast area was very crowded, however, with limited seating. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice not to pay for parking and there are quite a few quick serve dining options within walking distance of the hotel.
