Homewood Suites Miami Airport Blue Lagoon

We stayed here for a couple of days after flying into MIA, and we highly recommend it. Location at the Blue Lagoon is near the airport and not too far from other Miami spots. Rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, parking is free, prices were reasonable, and the breakfasts were very good. The outdoor areas were beautiful, with chickens and ducks wandering nearby.

Probably the nicest family suite we’ve ever had with an unbelievable welcome and cleanliness like you dream about. We’d come back in a heartbeat! I can’t wait to use the gym and explore all the things there are to do around here. Breakfast is great.

We stayed one night before our cruise started.Decent hotel, a bit weary. Very nice staff.Separate bedroom and living room/kitchen, which worked nicely. The hotel has no restaurant.Breakfast was included, which was nice. Waterfront very near.

This a wonderful property. The room was a suite so spacious and extremely comfortable. The AC worked wonderfully well. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was good and there is a large area for seating. Linda the front desk clerk at night was amazingly nice and Jennifer in the day was great as well. I will stay here again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at this very nice hotel for a night before and after a cruise. I chose this hotel because it had transportation for the airport and cruise port. They did not tell us that the return shuttle from the port was only for groups of 6 or more. We had to spend $50 for that trip instead of $30 that they told us. When we returned to the hotel to drop off our luggage (as advertised), the male at the desk said he couldn’t take our information because he was the only one working. When we came back after a city tour, which we also booked at the hotel, we were told that the airport shuttle only ran on the hour and the first trip at 6 AM the next morning was already booked. I asked about a taxi and the woman at the front desk said they could book it for us. The next morning a large SUV was there for the 2 of us. The charge was $45 for a 4 mile drive. The hotel is great. But ask questions about the transportation!
