We arrived at a busy time and some streets were blocked for crowd control but we followed the instructions given us to valet park and were greeted by a friendly attendant. He called a bellman to collect our bags and lead us down the street to the hotel. Tiago was incredibly helpful filling us in on what to expect, where to dine, amenities available etc. He took our bags directly to the room while we checked in. Nicest guy ever. The hotel was in a perfect location and we had a balcony overlooking the park and the ocean. Wonderful room, beautiful views and remarkably quiet when you shut the glass door. All was good here!

The hotel is perfectly located right on Ocean Drive, just steps from the beach. Check-in was quick and smooth, and since we arrived before 4pm, they sent us a text when our room was readyāsuper convenient. The room was clean and comfortable; the bathroom was a bit small, but that was the only minor downside. Overall, no real complaints since the spring breakers were in Ft LaunderdaleāIād definitely stay there again.

The food and beverage is great, the service in the restaurants is on point. The rooms are the complete opposite. We first got a Suite which looks nothing like the pictures. The bathroom was smaller than the pictures, the beed room in the suite had no partition. I was first told that yes it is a downgrade as they are sold out and then was told that suites are all with different layouts. I was given an option to move to the room i booked the next day but was told that its in a different building on the second floor with no elevator. We are travelling with a baby so that option was not for us. In our three days housekeeping never changed the sheets on the first day and never serviced the room on the second day inspite of us having put in a request with the front desk. The overall experience was not great and will give this hotel a skip next time. There are much better options nearby in a similar price bracket.

I stayed at this hotel for a three-day business trip. I arrived late and didnāt pay much attention to the artwork on the walls at first. But the next morning, I noticed one of the picturesāa scene of white women happily frolicking in the water while Black workers looked on. It immediately struck me, given the painful history it represents. There was a time when people like me (BIPOC) werenāt even allowed to swim in South Beach until 11:30 pm The other two pictures also featured only white women posing in swimwear. I was shocked and disappointed that a major hotel chain like Hilton would be so tone-deaf and lacking in inclusivityāespecially in todayās world. I emailed the hotelās assistant manager, Mr. Harrison, to express my discomfort, pointing out that they serve a diverse clientele and should be more mindful of the message their decor sends. I have not received a single response. In a time as divisive as this, with rising intolerance and hate under Trump, youād think businesses would do better. But the silence speaks volumes. I will never stay at this hotel again, and Iāll be sharing the letter I wrote everywhere. I hope other BIPOC travelers choose to spend their money somewhere that truly values and respects all people.

What a great vacation! First time in South Beach Miami and thought we would stop for a few days enroute home. We ended up extending our stay and spent the week. We had a room on Ocean Drive with a view of the ocean and a bird's eye spot above all the activity. If you prefer quiet, you might choose a room elsewhere in the hotel (which is housed in four buildings), but we enjoyed being in the midst of everything. Anything you might need is in walking distance -- plenty of restaurants, CVS, bakeries, the beach, the park (with exercise equipment), bike rentals, etc. Perfect for people watching. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very efficient. Rooms spotless. We arrived late from an international flight and were checked in quickly with no problems. Melissa at the front desk assisted us throughout our stay, making everything easy and comfortable. Our bellhop Tiago was always available with a smile to help with bags, ordering pizza for us and bringing ice on our first night when we were exhausted and arranging Uber and getting us off on our trip back home. We've traveled many places and, I must say, we have never been treated better at a hotel anywhere. Kudos to the Gabriel and Hilton.
