Hotel was ok. Very outdated but that doesnât matter much to us . The beds were clean, towels were clean and so soft. Pillows were the worst ever but bed was comfortable . Bathroom was just ok . Shower was clean but the floors certainly hadnât been swept or cleaned. Yellow stuff on the walls . They need a good cleaning for sure. Staff was not very social but all together it served its purpose and was ok. Waffle maker and elevator were down while we were there this morning but stairs were easily accessible so it was fine .

My stay was pleasant and quiet. I enjoyed my stay here for two nights during the super bowl, the rooms are clean + well stocked. I had no issues with any types of bugs or insects. Even though the pool was right outside my window, I had no noise issues. The breakfasts were delicious! + The outside of the building is clean and plenty of spacious parking. I thought it was a little expensive but for some reason all the hotels were expensive that week, more so than any other time. I definitely would stay here again.

The hotel was horrible, dirty urine on the mattresses holes in the couch couch cushions ripped couch bed not able to be used. Frame was broken springs missing had holes in the support piles of dirt money and trash. Had to call management to come to the room and verify and take pictures. Also get a vacuum to help vacuum the floors so that our kids can have a somewhat clean floor. Had to go to Walmart and buy a blowup bed for the kids. Blood on the curtains

The hotel is very old. I found roaches on the bathroom counter. Others in my party experienced no heat in the room. It was a cold spell and overnight temperature was in the low 40's. Desk clerk said some rooms did not have working heat, because it doesn't get cold in Florida.

Pros: Best pillows ever! Bed was perfect. Amy and Peggy set up possibly one of the best "free hotel breakfasts" ever. Biscuits and gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, two kinds of sausage, a multitude of muffins, bagels, fruit and pastries. And of course the flip over waffle maker. And for you southerners, cheese grits. Cons: Lakeland is not the best place but if you are just passing through and stay at the hotel, it's pretty great. I did notice private security as well as police patrols through the hotel area of town. I never felt unsafe.
