Holiday Inn Express Lake Wales N Winter Haven an IHG Hotel

I had the pleasure of attending my granddaughter's wedding, which was absolutely stunning. I must take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional cleanliness of my room. The housekeeper truly did an outstanding job! However, I must admit that I was quite disappointed with the attitude I encountered from the individual at the Front Office Manager or Sales, I'm not sure of her exact role. When I approached her, she was casually enjoying a meal from McDonald's right in front of me. To my dismay, when I requested something simple, she rolled her eyes and made it seem like a bothersome task. Unfortunately, she did not exhibit much kindness towards this elderly lady.

Rented two rooms on 12/26 and 12/27 One for my husband and I, both in our 60’s and one for a relative with their 4 year old and 2 mth old. My credit card was just charged $160. And I was told it was due to both rooms being filled with cigarette smoke. I called and assured the manager that there wasn’t any smoking in either room and asked for the proof. She told me she was told when the cleaning person entered the rooms they were filled with smoke. So, no proof. Since it’s my word against theirs I will be out this fee but I will never use any of the Holiday Inn Express Hotels in the future. Note to others…BEWARE OF THRSE FEES!!

We stayed at this hotel for two nights because it was close to the event we attended. The hotel area was great, just off the highway with plenty of places to eat and the mall/movie theater. Pleasant greeting during check in, room was spacious/clean, beds were very comfy and morning breakfast had plenty to select from for everyone. Small workout room and pool onsite. Although we came to Lake Wales for a dance recital, I am sure most guests were at this location because of the proximity to Legoland. We would definitely stay again.

We needed a night away from beach and near Bok Towers. Hotel was seemingly pretty new. Very nice and right on shopping area parking lot so convenient but not at all in scenic area I thought price was pretty expensive for Holiday InnExpress, but it was Saturday night so prices always higher on weekends it seems

Very nice hotel clean rooms, front desk personnel was awesome ( Chris ) helpful and pleasant to deal with. Complimentary Breakfast , coffee and snack shop in the lobby and just an all around comfy atmosphere. I’d definitely return.
