SureStay Plus by Best Western The Villages

Lovely room. Very clean. Our only complaint in this room was that there was a lot of light pollution. There are three separate windows with shades, and the light came in from behind the shades right into our eyes when we were in bed. Also, the air conditioner would blow air behind the heavy room, darkening shades instead of out into the room, so it got a little warm. Otherwise, the room was nice. It had a refrigerator, microwave, soaps, a little table, and a chair.

A most unique motel—in is not new but has been gone thru and updated. We were not sure where to sign in until we finally found the sign. Staff was kind and professional. Breakfast area is small but clean and the food has good flavor. They had plenty of food in stock. Outside needs work with the walls and doors needing serious cleaning. It is an OK place just not our style.

This is an old motel that has been updated fairly well. The motel was clean and rooms were ok but age shows. When they renovated they put heavy plaster over the walls including doorstops. Breakfast was meh with everything “hot” precooked and bland. Orange juice was watered down and did not taste like orange juice. Pool is across parking lot and is small. Price was good and value was good but motel was just good. Rooms are accessed from the parking lot so I would classify this as a motel and not a hotel. Good location if visiting the Villages,centrally located.

They change me into three different rooms. 1st room stunk like an ash tray, 2nd room had flying rouches they moved me at 11pm and 3rd was ok I guess. I was only there for 6 hours before I checked out. The pool tiny and inside there was a beach umbrella that the wind must have blown in the pool.

This hotel is a good price, but needs upgrades. The best features of the hotel were the comfy pillows and bed. The outside of the hotel was well maintained and pleasant to look at. The down side is that there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom, an unpleasant smell in the room, a large gap under the entryway door, an old yogurt cup in the frig, stains on the carpet, and a couple of small bugs we noticed the morning that we checked out.
