This could be a terrific hotel--but it isn't. Although advertised as recently renovated, we were immediately met with dirty carpet on the staircase and hallway. The mirror at the top of the staircase was significantly dirty. After a day of sightseeing, we returned to our room around 5:00. Housekeeping had not been there. We were told it could take housekeeping up until 8:00 PM to tend to our room. We had lunch at the poolside bar. Eightly dollars for fish tacos and ceasar salad--both of which were terrible! Breakfast in the main dining room was equally terrible! How can you mess up eggs? Dirty dishes left on trays in public view were disgusting. If the staff would remove the dirty dishes outside, we suspect there wouldn't be so many birds sitting on the tables. Really too bad Hilton doesn't have a better training program-- and a better kitchen. This could be a terrific hotel -- but it isn't.

Youâd be hard-pressed to find a more beautiful settingâthis hotel boasts a stunning location and truly breathtaking sunsets. Our room was clean, well-stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. That said, some of the shared spaces could use more attention. The corridor carpets are noticeably stained, room doors could benefit from a fresh coat of paint, and tiled areas need a deep clean. High-touch points like door handles could also do with scrubbing, and noise insulation between rooms is quite minimal. We found the menu a bit limited, especially for vegetarian guests, and I found it difficult to find suitable choices. Overall, with a few improvements to maintenance and dining variety, this hotel could truly match its exceptional location.

The cost is very high and youâre strictly paying for the location. The room is entirely a regular basic hotel room (we did ocean front with lanai) with very thin walls. We woke up a lot thinking someone was in our room walking around but it was just our neighbors in their room. AC was brutally cold and loud once kicked on. Played with the settings a bit during our stay. I get it, itâs a super old historic hotel fit to todayâs needs. You canât use your lanai door as your primary entrance/exit which was a bit annoying when it was so conveniently located. Technology can easily fix that. We didnât eat on property because our drink bill busted the budget. Drinks WERE great (we tried a couple mixed drinks while at the beach) however VERY pricey. Just be aware. Parking valets were wonderful and super helpful. Lobby area was beautiful. Pools were quite full so we stuck near the beach and those chairs filled up quickly in the mornings. Overall would consider returning but the cost is something to consider for sure.

A female friend and I went to Casa Marina for a weeks vacation with high expectations, we were disappointed. The building is beautiful from the beach side especially at night. There is a coffee maker with pods replaced daily along with 2 bottle of water which was nice. The bakery at the little coffee shop/store is fantastic. There was nice spaces for doing yoga, playing bags.or lounging at night. Beautiful views and a great location for walking to dining or shopping. Love that we could walk anywhere we needed or wanted to go. Now for our disappoinments. There is a lack of storage, 2 small drawers and a shelf, 7 hangers, meant we lived out of our suitcases and were constantly digging for things. There was some space on the sides of the sink for items but not much. Under the sink is pretty full. There is not one place to hang a hand towel. This seems like a huge miss when designing a bathroom. There is only 1 hook in the whole bathroom near the shower for a towel, but nowhere to hang a towel to dry or put the bath mat. Nowhere to hang a suit or two to dry. The shower has no shelf for placing a razor or facial soap besides the lip of the door. There is no ledge to prop a foot for shaving legs. The water pressure and shower heads were great. The night stand drawer is the safe, so again, no storage. The side of the night stand has have plug in which is great. For being recently renovated I expected more. The drain basket had mold the whole time we were there, never scrubbed. The last day I used my nail to check that it was indeed able to be removed and it was. The shoot on the ice/water dispenser was full of mold. On our 2nd day, I had used it the first day as I had not seen the mold, disgusted by this, I saw the mold, took a picture, showed it to the male at the front desk. I checked back 2 days later and our last day, the mold was still there, never cleaned. For the resort fee of $60 plus tax I would expect a clean environment and providing the services they say they provide. The sign says Popsicles at 130, frozen fruit at 2 and sunglass cleaning. The Popsicles happened everyday but we never saw the other 2 happen in all 8 days. We sat in generally the same area every day, since the 2nd or 3rd day there were 3 full fake nails that had popped off someone that were still there when we left. The edges and corners are filled with dried weeds and debris. The guys working at the pool were friendly and helpful, just not sure there was enough staff. We ordered food 1 day, service was very slow. $30 for a small quesedila and 15 chips is crazy as well as $13 for a virgin frozen lemonade, even when gotten from the bar directly.

My spouse and I traveled from South Carolina to Key West for a much needed vacation. We planned a 10-day trip, stopping at places like St. Augustine and West Palm Beach along the way to Key West. We finally arrived yesterday and I am writing this review early, because I am that upset with the room we were assigned (280). See the pictures to validate my frustration. First and foremost, this room is not a âpremiumâ room. I will say the only exception being the ocean front view and terrace, BUT that is what I booked and expected. What I did not expect is being shoved in a âcloset for twoâ and having my kidneys bruised by a shower handle that takes up what little room there is in a shower that is barely wider than a coat hanger. I donât throw the following around to be arrogant or a braggart, but I am a Hilton Diamond member. Think about how you will be treated and taken care of if you are not a Hilton rewards member at all. I responded to the front desk when they asked how my stay is going, and I am still waiting on the response that they promised (a day later). Please see the pictures and text message. I know a GM or two that will be getting a very nice letter. Do you know who wins in all of this? No one! [well maybe the other big brand that gets my next $200k or so] I do know who loses.
