Artist House Key West

Our stay at The Artist House was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well cared for—thanks in large part to Sophia, the delightful and attentive manager. She went above and beyond to make our visit special, from remembering our favorite wine to seamlessly booking us an extra night when a hurricane disrupted our travel plans. Her kindness and genuine concern made all the difference. The inn itself is charming and cozy, with impeccably clean rooms and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved starting our mornings in the serene back courtyard with breakfast and later unwinding there with a glass of wine in the afternoon. But the true highlight? The whimsical Alice in Wonderland chairs on the front porch! Sitting there in the evenings, watching the world go by, was pure magic. We’ve been visiting Key West for years, but this was by far one of our most relaxing and memorable stays. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed at the Artist House! The staff is amazing and really makes you feel like family and welcomed! The rooms are very comfortable, and always very clean! Very conveniently located!! And always a nice breakfast (with mimosas also) and a nice evening happy hour with delish appetizers! This trip I wouldn’t have made - had I not been able to stay at the Artist House House!!! It’s by far the best place I’ve ever stayed at in Key West! I highly recommend this without any reservation!!! Kathy

What an amazing stay for our 29th anniversary!The location is perfect; close to Duval without all the noise. Sophia and Shawn are so accommodating to their guests and will go over and above to make your vacation enjoyable. We will return and will tell friends about this wonderfully memorable experience.

We are just back from yet another amazing stay at the Artist House. It was our seventh stay in the past eight years. We have traveled the world and I must say that the Turret Room is by far my favorite room. Although the house is absolutely beautiful, the best part of staying at the Artist House is the first class staff. Sophia is wonderful and Shawn is a gem. What a great team. And yes, we have already reserved the Turret Room for 2026! Only 11 months away. Can't wait to be back on that magnificent porch on the second floor.

Oh yeah, we love this place. The staff was great and the experience was wonderful. The place was very clean very close to all the attractions. We love the decor, and had extra help with our baggage, and the outside was well-maintained and clean. Sophia was excellent and helped us with everything we needed.
