Waterside Suites & Marina

Definitely not very well done on the remodel. Finishes are cheap and the building is old. Views are ok but seems kinda sketchy around us. We were gone all day and when we returned after 9 pm our room had not been refreshed even though we specifically asked for fresh towels or washcloths. I prefer bed made but it’s not a have to. I just feel like I’m paying $200+ per night I should get room refreshed. I probably would not recommend staying here and would never return.

Resort experience was very enjoyable and close to good restaurants, pet friendly and near to boats for rental and trips to the reef.

This place was the nicest hotel or motel I stayed at for an entire week on a motorcycle trip. It was $213 plus a $25 hotel fee and taxes brought it to $268 for the night. Not the cheapest in the Keys but not the most expensive either but pretty good for South Florida and what you get. Everything inside was new, clean, and very comfortable. Both beds were soft with lots of pillows. We were able to set the house temp to 68 and the AC easily cooled both floors. It's a little odd that one of the beds is in what would normally be a living room. The entire upstairs is just a single bedroom with the shower. There is a downstairs bathroom that could hold a half-shower but it's just a toilet. The kitchen is small and compact but just what you need and there's a small table in there for breakfast. My favorite part was the balcony. It sits on the water and you have a great view of the marina and the bar across the way had live music. I sat outside and enjoyed this until they shut it off around 1030 which is pretty respectable for your neighbors. In the morning I had breakfast out on the balcony, it was my favorite part of the room. The pool is heated to a lukewarm temp and open until 11. In the office they have coffee and some cookies for breakfast. For dinner we drove down the street to The Fish House and it was an amazing meal, I knew it would be good when there was a wait at 8pm on a Thursday night in March. Highly recommend eating there. Check in and out was easy. Parking area was sufficient. You do need to display a parking pass which we shoved in the windshields of our motorcycles. Iw Ould definitely stay here again!

Great experience staying at Waterside Suites, easy to walk to places to eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Be aware the bed is upstairs for those that have difficulties with going up stairs. Would stay here again.

overall great!! on the water and walking distance to food and shopping. Very clean and the rooms have everything you need. The staff is amazing and we enjoyed our stay. I am so greatful for the short time we stayed and know we will be back.
