Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Downtown

Wouldn’t stay here unless there were no other options. The area is gross, they gave us the wrong room, the phone was ringing at 2:00 AM, he breakfast was disgusting and they cleaned it up 15-20 minutes early. The room was clean but that’s about it.

stayed here for 5 nights during mid Jan, the hotel is located near to the riverfront and has decent surrounding with basic amenities, was closer to the office as well, rooms were very ambient, clean and spacious. breakfast was basic, staff mostly were very friendly and always helpful except for one lady in the breakfast who always seemed to have an angry mood. but that in no way made the stay less pleasant. I would surely go back if I am in Jacksonville

The room was quiet and spacious. The breakfast was excellent. I had some issues with the front desk staff, one in particular who was very loud with something that should have been handled with more tact, and embarrassed me. As a result I probably won’t stay here again.

Newer hotel, std Residence Inn with mini kitchen. Staff was friendly, room was clean, comfortable. Decent view overlooking fountain of office complex next door. It is on the edge of an area being revitalized so not a big deal, we walked next door to a decent Mexican place and a First Watch a block away and the River Walk is 2 blocks so was a decent place to stay. Free breakfast was pretty emptied out with 20 mins before closing so that wasnt the best but would return.

Loved my room. Very large bathroom. Loved the layout of the kitchen living room area. Hotel 2 years old; still looks brand new. Parking spaces narrow but manageable. Moved the car out of the space to load and unload suitcases. There were a dozen or so wider spaces suitable for larger SUVs. Hotel adjacent to decrepit industrial neighborhood that you might have to drive through, but once you're in their parking lot, it felt safe. I ignored the local disabled man who tried to get my attention. He motioned to me; I couldn't hear what he said, so I waved back. Then he walked into the parking lot; maybe he thought I was encouraging him to enter.
