Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront

We visited St, Augustine for a few days and decided to spend a few days at Jacksonville Beach. Randomly chose the Hampton after considering Margarita vile, the Sheraton and a few more. Could not have been more satisfied with the choice. We walked in without a reservation and the gentleman working the front desk greeted us and gave us keys to an ocean front room at noon even though checkin was 3:00. We were able to enjoy a great day at their pool which is extremely large compared to others we had seen. They have a nice beach restaurant on property and a inside bar in the evening. Rooms are nothing exceptional but very nice and clean. No safe in the room which would be my only recommendation. Nice hot breakfast offered each morning with many choices. Beach is beautiful in front on this hotel. Property is walking distance to the pier and many bars and restaurants. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This was a combination Girl's Get Away & surgical procedure at the Mayo Clinic. We loved this location because of its convenience to Mayo, Atlantic Beach & Neptune Beach. Our room was very comfortable with a Beautiful view of the pool & beach. The Staff always greeted us with a smile & went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay at the Jacksonville Beach Oceanfront anytime we're in town.

Ocean view room with balcony was awesome. Pool is huge and attractive. Linens need updated and towels were like sandpaper. I’ll return with my own towels. Also needed a rubber nonslip mat in bathtub as surface of tub is extra slippery. Since I slid in the tub I requested a rubber bath mat tub but was told they didn’t have rubber bath mats at the hotel. Stated that hold bars were sufficient for safety. REALLY???

Really nice location. We had an oceanfront view on the 7th floor which provided amazing sun rises in the morning. Room was well appointed and clean. Pool area was not too busy and well cared for. Breakfast in the mornings was standard Hampton Inn fare - which is much nicer than most hotels with a breakfast. Rented bikes outside and rode to Neptune Beach for dinner. Easy walk south for a mile to Jacksonville Beach central with bars and restaurants. Didn't love the hotel bar - staff/service was a disappointment. Went there the first afternoon and had a back experience and never went back. Everything else was very nice.

Great location, great amenities, wonderful hospitality! Shout out to the front desk for understanding our hope for a higher floor room and helping us out, to ensure our night was quiet. We had an early morning and it was very restful. Elena at the restaurant/bar is the best. We’ve stayed here several times and she always helps me find foods and drinks that don’t have any allergens I’ll react to. She sets the bar for hospitality.
