Three Waters Resort and Marina Islamorada

I had an amazing stay at Three Waters Resort in Islamorada! From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. Check-in with Luiz was smooth and welcoming — he was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect. I was thrilled to be upgraded to a beautiful suite with stunning water views. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and eager to help. The food was also fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and a great variety. Overall, an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait to come back!

We would come here in the resort’s previous incarnations, Holiday Isle and The Postcard Inn and always had a great time. The “new” resort is definitely going through some growing pains. We didn’t get the room we had reserved due to the previous guest who had it. Also, I hate resort fees for activities you may or may not use (even though all resorts seem to charge these fees now). We were only there for two nights and the first night was bumpy but things improved after, thanks to Melissa at the front desk who went above and beyond to make things right. Little Limón has the best views, great food and service all around. The Tiki Bar was a mixed bag. Enjoyed the live entertainment, firepits and overall decor in the resort. There are a lot of fun activities but we didn’t have time for them. We will try it out again, give it a bit of time and it will be the perfect Keys vacation location. Lots of potential! And thank you to Melissa for her excellent customer service.

Not remotely ready to offer the facilities and service you would expect at this price point. From not having enough bedding for the number of people on the reservation (then taking three phone calls, a trip to the front desk, and then walking trying to find someone from housekeeping to hang you a bag of sheets), or not having simple housekeeping (beds made, new towels) most days, to WiFi/TV not working on and off, waiting 45 minutes for a table at a restaurant that was less than half full at breakfast, lost lunch orders, dinners of “snacks” that took three hours to arrive at the table, most kids activities being “cancelled” due to staffing issues this resort just isn’t ready for prime time. The location is fantastic, but putting a coat of paint on an old motel, then not training the staff and charging luxury prices ($1300+ per night) is not a recipe for success.

My husband and I stayed at the Cove in a jr suite at the end of March. The view and privacy was a plus. It is a beautiful resort and we really enjoyed staying at the “adult” section of the resort. The Hideaway bar food selection at the cove was healthy and delicious. Staff were super friendly and eager to please. We were a little concerned about staying here for a week due to the negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay here again.
