Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale Downtown Las Olas Area

Friendly and efficient check in, clean throughout and a nice breakfast- everything needed for a good night's stay. This is an ideal for a night stop pre cruise- couple of good bars 3 blocks south, Tin Roof and a rooftop bar next door. Swimming pool area looked very inviting too.

Brittney was a great bartender. Attentive & friendly. Spacious and clean bar area with a lot of tables. Great local beer on draft and plenty of choices in bottles. Nice atmosphere near the pool with a couple of TVs. Good spot for a group to get together.

Check-in was on time and easy, although our room cards did not work on first try and we had to go back down to the check-in desk to get them activated properly. After that, everything went smoothly. The room was clean and comfortable, and cleaned daily by a friendly housekeeper. The breakfast was a decent selection, including eggs, breakfast meat, etc. plus two flavors of waffles that changed on a daily basis. Isha (spelling?) was very friendly and welcoming as we entered the breakfast room and kept the tables clean and uncluttered as we finished various parts of our meal. (Finished with your yogurt? The yogurt container was gone!) Randy S at the front desk was very helpful as we checked out and left our bags for later pickup. Although I had some reservations about the location (near the bus depot), it was not in direct line with the depot and we safely walked from the Water Taxi on the Riverfront to the hotel (0.9 mile) after 11pm without any issues. Overall it was a very good experience and we would not hesitate to return to this Hampton Inn in the future.

Excellent experience with Brittney!!! Front desk could definitely take some pointers from her. Friendly, professional and kind!! Made us feel welcome the moment we walked in the door , absolutely on the ball. Never felt like I was being rushed.

Britney was very helpful with local information and things to do. Very professional and excellent customer care. The bar was clean and had a fun atmosphere. Great conversation and lead to a great night. Will look forward to seeing her on my next visit.
