This is a beautiful property with an excellent staff. The location is a bit quieter than the rest of Ft Lauderdale beach, which made it much more pleasant. The bed is great, with excellent sheets (which makes a big difference), and the room was new and beautifully decorated in neutral tones. I was upgraded to a suite, which had a small sitting area and two balconies with excellent views of the ocean and the intracoastal waterway. I will definitely be back at this hotel!

Weâve been fortunate to visit several Four Seasons properties around the world. For my birthday this year we decided on the Ft. Lauderdale location since itâs an easy flight for us and the weather is great in April. The property is beautiful and in a great location. It just doesnât live up to the Four Seasons brand/experience. We booked a King Ocean view room. The rooms are lovely. Bright, clean, and modern. However, I was disappointed our room had only one small sink/vanity and a very small, minimal bathroom. No bath tub. It was misleading based on the photos on the website when booking. Also, we had a very nice patio with a beautiful view of the ocean. Unfortunately, thereâs constant noise from delivery trucks and commercial air conditioning units outside beneath the patio, so itâs difficult to relax on the patio let alone even hear the ocean. What was most disappointing was the inconsistent level of service from the employees. One day, we had excellent and attentive pool service. The other two days, we asked for refills of water multiple times and never received it. They didnât provide any of the typical Four Seasons pool services (sunglasses cleaning, poolside snacks, etc.). It was very hot and sunny and we werenât allowed to use umbrellas because of the wind. I know that canât be helped, but the wind didnât seem dangerously high at the time. On another occasion, we went to our room after spending the day at the pool and it still hadnât been cleaned at 5pm. We also didnât get turn down service one night and had to call the front desk to ask for it. Perhaps the most frustrating issue happened one morning when there was a plumbing issue in the bathroom. We called the front desk to report it and were told theyâd send someone right up. We waited an hour before calling back and were again told theyâd be right up. We then waited another 30 minutes before calling for a 3rd time. Having a functioning bathroom is an urgent need and it was disappointing to say the least. I know reviews like this can come across as entitled and critical. These issues may seem trivial, but when youâre paying around $1,000 a night for a room at a Four Seasons property, there are certain expectations. We enjoyed our time in Ft. Lauderdale and had a great vacation, but, unfortunately, the Ft. Lauderdale property fell short of what we expect from a Four Seasons experience and was disappointing.

We stayed at the property in 2023 for a wedding party so we were able to experience the hotel as both a getaway and an event. The property delivered on both accounts. All of the staff were very kind and attentive throughout the stay. We stayed in an Intracoastal room (room 1116) and it was quiet as could be. The room itself had plenty of space, including ample closets, and all of the touches you would expect of a luxury hotel. The bed was very comfortable and there was good lighting around the room. The desk space is very generous so you could work here easily if needed. And our bathroom was generous in size, with a separate tub and shower as well as double sinks. You could not ask for more! The balcony could benefit from some additional furniture due to its large size. We took advantage of dining on property at most locations, including by the pool and in-room breakfast. Everything was fantastic. My husband enjoyed a massage in the spa (he had a great experience - I believe the massage therapist was Kendra). Later, we attended the wedding party of our friends on the 2nd floor and everything was perfect. The food was great (especially the pesto pasta dish and the passed hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour) and the espresso trolley was awesome. But best of all was the service. The catering manager even found safety pins to help my friend fix a dress snafu. Most amazing of all was how patient and responsive the staff were at Evelyn's as a group of us from the wedding extended our fun into the bar. We came in late and they were unbelievably generous to spring into action near closing and accommodate the continued celebration. The drinks were great but it is the service and generosity of spirit that I will remember. We had a couple of very small hiccups during the stay (the shoes didn't get picked up for the overnight shoe-shine, turndown was missed one night, we had to ask for a couple of small things, etc.) and a billing issue, but the hotel was responsive and generous to us throughout the stay, more than making up for the small inconveniences. All in all, this was a fabulous property that I would love to return to again.

Hotel is not a 5 star property. There is no lobby in the hotel. The staff is not focused on customer service. We booked a one bedroom ocean view suite at $2600 per night and we could t get them to deliver a Diet Coke to the room. We asked multiple times and it was never delivered. The Four Seasons properties in this region are not nice hotels. They are 3 star at best and not worth the price. Pretty pathetic that you canât get something simple like a Diet Coke.

We had a great time at the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale. We traveled as a family of four adults and two 3-year olds in February to escape the winter cold in the Northeast. We chose the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale because of great reviews, the Four Seasons name, the quality of the rooms available, and the ease of travel -- a relatively short flight and a 25 minute car ride to the hotel. It proved to be a great choice. The service was incredible, amazing and top-notch at every turn. We told the staff ahead of time that our son likes trucks and his cousin traveling with us likes Spider Man. They left thematic welcome gifts in each room. Every request we made was fulfilled with enthusiasm. The staff recognized us by name and made sure we were well taken care of. The hotel itself is great -- new, modern, and spotless. Our rooms were immaculate and cleaned very well every day. The whole property felt clean and well maintained. We ate room service quite a bit, and it was fantastic. We had breakfast in Evelyn's a few times. The food was great. Try the Mango Mojito at the pool bar -- one of the best poolside drinks we've had. The fitness center was nice. My brother-in-law used the sauna and steam room every day. He is a frequent user of saunas and steam rooms and said these were top-notch -- among the best he's been to in many top luxury hotels and fitness centers. A few of the past reviews have noted that the pools (there is an adult pool and a family pool) are a bit small. That is true. They worked for what we needed for two 3-year olds during a week that the hotel and pool area were not very crowded. But if the hotel was fully booked and there were a lot of people at the pool, it would feel tight. Others have noted that the beach is across a road that can sometimes be busy. Also true, but we found that quite navigable. The food and beverage service at both the pool and the beach were terrific. In all, we had an amazing vacation at the Four Seasons Fort Lauderdale and will definitely be back.
