The hotel is loud! Crazy loud. You can hear so much noise in your room from hallway conversations to atrium conversations to the elevators and everything in between. The hotel is understaffed. Multiple calls over a period of more than one hour to get a toothbrush is poor customer service. And donât expect to get a drink during cocktail hour or breakfast. Lines are extremely long and there are not tables. Yes itâs during the spring and the location is good, but we wonât be back.

So the lady checking me in, God bless her; she shouldnât have to work at her age đ˘. Unfortunately, she was met with multiple technical issues, who isnât savvy to fix them. It took over 30 minutes for her to get me checked in with my key card in hand. She was sweet enough, but at that point the manager should have helped. The architecture of the building is actually really cool. If you have vertigo or are afraid of heights, this is not the hotel for you. All of the rooms doors are on the interior of the building. It is open concept, so depending on what floor youâre on, you will be looking straight down that many stories. Now, for $642 for one night, this is the problem I have. I was told at check in that I have their âpremium suiteâ. Which includes their in house snack/drinks. Whatever I need, just ask the front desk, there will be no charge. Great! I go downstairs about 2 hours after arrival to ask for extra water. The other girl working tells me I have to pay for them?! What? I was told it was included in my so called suite. She said, only 2 a day so if I want to wait until the morning, the hotel will give them to me free at that point. I asked if I could trade in the cans of pop and juice for water, as thatâs the only thing I drink. NOPE. For over $600 for one night, I canât have more bottled water in a premium suite? I tried calling for room service 3 times, with no answer. Go down to the restaurant to place a to go order and let the server know I tried calling. âYeah, weâre busyâ. I order my pizza, she tells me to be back in 30 minutes. At that point, you should have offered to deliver it knowing I tried to get room service. Overall, this hotel was very expensive; employees not that friendly. I thought I would give Hilton a try, itâs a no for me. Will definitely go back to staying at Hyatt hotels.

The embassy hotel is in a perfect location close to airport, cruise lines and Fort Lauderdale beach. The hotel is efficiently run and offers all the amenities including a great complete breakfast, free drinks at least right now at happy hour and a nice pool. Highly recommended and ask for a room over looking the pool.

Kathleen at the front desk was outstanding. Courteous, professional and polite. Very busy at check in and she demonstrate all the above. Will definitely return next year. Thank you Kathleen for your professionalism. The hotel is lucky to have you.

Disappointing. This used to be our fave hotel before cruising. Last time it was filthy so we started staying on the beach for almost the same price. I heard there was a renovation so we tried again. It was wayyy overpriced for as bad as it still is. Our room smelled like dirty feet. The bathroom floor was filthy. Tile needs to be replaced. We sadly wonât stay again. Location however is great but thatâs the only good thing I can say when there are better hotels available
