We spent two nights here while engaging in activities at Biscayne National Park. The hotel is very convenient to the park Visitor Center. It is a great choice for adventures in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful; when we arrived on Valentine's Day, they even offered candy to guests! The breakfast was pretty good, about what you would expect. The room was spacious and the full size refrigerator was appreciated. The furniture was showing wear. I'm not sure if there are any rooms with two beds, but none were available when we reserved, so one of us had to sleep on the sofa bed. Comfort wise it was okay, but every time I moved the springs sounded like an earthquake. The pool looked very nice but we were too busy and tired to take advantage of it. There are a lot of really wonderful restaurants nearby; check out Havana Spice and don't miss Robert is Here fruit stand!

We stayed here for one night whilst driving around Miami and surrounding areas. This hotel is very dated and needs a refresh. Whilst the reception staff were helpful, we booked a king suite as there were 3 of us staying. When we got to the room there was a king bed and a sofa bed. This in itself was not a big issue, however the sofa bed was not made up and was still just a sofa. I went to reception and informed them and they said that they will get housekeeping to come up. When housekeeping came to the room they simply showed us in a cupboard where the spare bedding was and left. We then had to make the bed. Poor as the booking was for 3 adults, so should have been made up. The sofa bed was old and very uncomfortable and noisy with the slightest movement. The breakfast in the morning was poor, pre made muffins with egg and sausage or bacon, but they were just made up and kept in a warmer, so were dry and not very nice. Hotel is in a good location for visiting the Everglades alligator farm, 10 minutes down the road and there are plenty of restaurants within walking or a 5 minute drive.

Stayed one night on our Florida Road trip. Room was huge and very comfortable. Our room was close to the road but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise. Laundry was out of order which was disappointing as we had planned to use it. Good location as a stopping point between The Keys & The Everglades.

As a Diamond Hilton member, I can say without any hesitation that this particular hotel and its Mgr, Carlo Lima, is the absolutely the WORST Hilton property I have ever visited and encountered. This hotel SHOULD NOT be apart of the Hilton brand! I hope @Hilton sees this review and will look into this further, especially the manager and his tactics. Booked this location based on its proximity to Key Largo however it is well worth the extra 30min drive back to Miami to stay and avoid this hotel. I am not sure why others have rated this above a 1 Star review however others have agreed with my assessment of the poor experience. I wished I had gather photos to share but please know that this is below par of even a poorly rated budget hotel.

Our family spent two nights here and it worked out very well. We drove from East Tennessee and were looking for something just outside the Keys that would be cheaper. We drove back and forth from Key Largo one day and the drive was not bad at all. This hotel is right off the main road so it is easy to find. There is a Cracker Barrel, Walgreens and Starbucks right in front of the hotel and a Circle K gas station across the street. There are other restaurants nearby and a Wal-Mart about two blocks away so the location is very convenient. The room was a good size and it’s nice having a refrigerator with an actual freezer. Breakfast isn’t extensive but it was just fine for us. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return.
