There was no hand soap whatsoever in the public bathrooms or in the guest rooms. I thought at first this was an unfortunate oversight so I asked for some soap at the front desk. The woman told me they did not have any soap available. This is absolutely unacceptable! By this time, we should all understand the importance of proper handwashing. The hotel should have contacted each guest to warn them that they did not have any soap. We like Home2 Suites well enough that we probably would have stopped off at a store to buy our own soap if we had known ahead of time.

I was so disappointed in this hotel! The shining light during our stay was Shekeria who was at the fro t desk when we checked in. She sent us multiple texts to make sure we were doing well. At first glance, the room looked good. We discovered several issues with housekeeping. First, the table was disgusting! It took 4 Lysol wipes to clean it. Housekeeping was scheduled for every other day which we were fine with. I left a message of what we needed. The housekeeper filled half of the requested items. They also left their dirty, wet cleaning rag on the ironing board! Gross!!!We ended up going to the front desk to get the rest: coffee, hand towels, and toilet tissue. The final straw was that my husband's shoes bags disappeared while we were there. When I reported it, the desk clerk was very nonchalant about it! There was zero concern, assurance of follow up or anything. Do not stay here!! There are many other Hilton property options near by.

The hotel is overall very good. It is just a few minute walk to the beach, restaurants are within walking distance and many more just a short drive. The hotel was clean and quite. The pool is really nice, it is a zero entry on one side and goes to 5 feet. Breakfast was good but lacked variety. There were some small things that could be addressed to make it better. The door to our room "stuck" so you had to pull hard or push hard to get it closed, this seems like a safety issue as you had to watch to make sure it closed. The pool towels have to be asked for each time, the staff seems to get frustrated with this process. The big shampoo/body wash bottles needed to be refilled after our first night, we had to ask for replacement as housekeeping is every other day. The breakfast cuts off at 9:30 but at 9 they opted to not make more breakfast sandwiches when they were out even with being asked "this is what we have now" was the response. Just to note the beach access is wedged in-between some large "private" beach areas. If you were to attend during peak season the area you can set up in is very small. Even in the off season you need to arrive early to get up front. This has nothing to do with the hotel just important to know. I would stay here again, a few maintenance and upkeep items and this is a 5 star hotel.

I have been with the Hilton brand for years now and this hotel was a very good choice. It's located on the same side as the beach. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well. Shopping is less than five miles away. Activities are less than five miles away as well. So, all in all the location of this hotel is perfect. Home 2 suites rooms are nice and spacious and this one did not disappoint. Very clean! No musty smell by it being by the beach. Breakfast was pretty descent. At least it will tie you over until lunch. The only thing that I saw was a problem is that the breakfast crew was the only group that was lacking at this hotel between July 14 thru July 18, 2024. I have stayed at many Hilton owned and I also have been a gold member as well before and I have seen breakfast crews at it best even if it was only two members working and have seen one breakfast crew member in action as well. These members didn't seem to care, Normally, if something runs out, they will have it ready to go not here. They seem to prepare it when it has completely run out. There were long lines waiting on items as this was a restaurant. And the crew were moving as if they were sloths. They were doing other things and the breakfast area was not being re stocked at the time that it ran out. They eventually restocked but again they were not in no HURRY to do so. I just have seen better at breakfast wayyyyyy better. It was only my spouse and I and we made do with what we had but for the people with kids it was a joke. Also close the kitchen down and have it stocked until the kitchen closes not 15 minutes before. Other than that: this was a great stay.

This hotel was great for the money & location! Walk to the beach or several restaurants. Clean & spacious room. Dogs are allowed on property, so may hear barking as you walk down the hall. No issues at night though. For the money & the location, youâd be hard to find anything. Oh, and a hot breakfast is always an added bonus. Just wish all the hot items didnât have egg on them.
