Sleep Inn & Suites Defuniak Springs Crestview

This was a very pleasant stop - considering it is in the middle of nowhere. This hotel is very pet friendly. Everything was clean and neat. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we have found anywhere. But, the rooms were just average size. Breakfast was a little bit better than the average. The only real issue, and the reason for not giving 5 stars was the tub/shower. It was so slick that we had to put a small towel in there to avoid falling while taking a shower. This should be an easy fix for management - put in some 'no slip' strips.

We spent a couple nights at this location.First its far away from decent food to eat!Truck stop in parking lot- mcdonalds was terrible! Waffle house good for breakfast! Subway-wooopee! Not! They lock up the place like fort knox at night! Then we checked out a day early,and the early girl at front desk was rude and told me i was throwing my money around because i have to wait for the money to go back on my card for checking out a day early! Not her buisness! Guess thats why she doesnt own a buisness.The hotel was clean, noisy with 40+ construction workers banging doors!We wont be back.Truth is Truth.

I just stayed 3nights everything great clean etc I checked out at noon told them my ride wasn't coming for some hours may I hang in the lobby NO only for a little bit one hour later some random man comes up to me asking me questions that he clearly already knows the answers to he stated your ride not coming for awhile at this you are loitering 1hr after I checked out he seemed very hostile I wouldn't recommend either hotel here there's only two the red roof inn and the sleep inn I had another experience at red roof prior to checkout out time I have no idea what goes on here but I'm just passing through these people are hostile

Hotel was clean overall which is the main deal for me. The beds were comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy but it was clean and quite. Staff was nice. I would stay here again. Price was right. Pool was not it though. Other than that I would stay here again for a quick budget trip.

We booked based on reviews, our experience was awful. The hotel room assigned to us was disgusting. It smelled awful and the counter tops and floors were sticky and disgusting, the mirrors had hand prints smeared down them, pubic hairs in tub ,Something was poured down the desk and all over drawers. We tried to get refund but was offered nothing. We left and booked a room 16 miles away in niceville at comfort inn and it was amazing. Unfortunately we took a loss on the stay and didn't get refunded but thankfully we found a great hotel that was clean and I'd recommend anyone thinking of booking to look elsewhere if you like a clean room that doesn't smell like mold and mildew. Also asked other guest on way out if their rooms were clean and they said absolutely not!
