Just spent spring break at the Sandpearl in a 1 bedroom corner suite. The room was fabulous, and the bed so comfortable. The pillows were very fluffy, which wasn't my cup of tea, but everyone else loved them. The resort is lovely with an amazing location right on the sand. We were there for the week before Easter which was a very crowded week, and I will say the chair issue is annoying. They do try to limit people saving chairs with their card system, but this results in a line at the towel desk when they open at 7am and having to get up before sunrise on vacation just to get 5 chairs together for my family. You have to visit your chair at least once an hour and take the card off if you don't want the staff to take your towels and belongings. It's stressful and resulted in me sitting at the chairs from about 7:30am - 11am when the rest of my family got down there with a break for breakfast in between which I had to rush out of daily (Clear Sky Cafe next door - wonderful!) to make sure our chairs were still there. I'm not sure what they could do differently. There just not enough seats for everyone. They also ran out of umbrellas at the beach each day, as did the company next door that was renting them. I don't think this would be such a big issue if it wasn't one of the most crowded weeks of the year. They have a movie by the pool each night for kids and sold a s'mores kit at the towel desk. During the day they have corn hole set up and ping pong. They had a moon bounce slip and slide type thing and balloon artist and a mermaid come to the pool. Pool service was good, but pretty slow for food. Drinks came quickly. I don't think the kitchen could keep up. They regularly had 1 hour waits for food, and one day there was a 2 hour wait so they stopped taking orders and said the kitchen was closed for them to catch up. That day, I went up to the marketplace in the lobby, but they were basically out of all food besides cookies and chips except for cuban sandwiches. There is always someone holding open the door and the few times we used valet, the car came quickly. They have water for when you leave too. The location is wonderful. You can walk to everything. We ate dinner at the Boxer, The Salty Crab North Beach (twice), Frenchy's Rockaway, Marina Cantina, and always breakfast at Clear Sky. I wish we'd tried Clear Sky for dinner. The food there was the best by far. None of the others were very memorable, but they were all solid and not terrible which I consider a win for a beach town. Housekeeping at Sandpearl was ok. They did a good job cleaning and emptying trash, making beds, etc., but I had to go searching them down multiple times for shampoo and lotion (they didn't leave any besides the first tiny bottle for the first 3 nights), toilet paper, towels and they often didn't come by 4pm. I passed housekeepers often in the halls, and I don't know if they are trained not to speak to guests, but they weren't that friendly when I said good morning or hello, and I even witnessed two of them fighting and another one crying. It was odd for such a higher end resort. The rooms were recently remodeled, and I loved having a washer and dryer (housekeeping gives you tide and bounce) and full kitchen, though we only used the fridge. It was nice to have a place to store leftovers. The views are just outstanding. I would definitely return, but I would probably try to go back at a less busy time. I would say this is definitely a 4 star resort. We had a great time and would be happy to go back.

Wonderful resort, perfect location, the beach was amazing, and it had great options for food and shopping. Only thing that annoyed me was people waking up at 7am to throw towels on the chairs and they didnāt manage to clean our room the last night we were there. But we absolutely loved it, weāll be back!

My complaint it with the staff and the SPA. i had 2 spa treatments that I was very disappointed in. After my treatments I asked to speak to the spa manager who was not available. I never heard from anyone. When I checked out from my stay, I once again explained my disappointment and was assured someone would reach out to me. NO one did. I understand the mandatory 20% gratuity, however my aesthetician was not entitled to 20%. So disappointed in the my treatments and the neglect in reaching out to me.

Definitely will stay here again. Staff is amazing especially housekeeping. We had junior suite with gorgeous gulf view. Didnāt meet anyone who wasnāt welcoming at hotel. Private beach is a big plus as you can walk right out onto the beach. Beach is beautiful. Staff on beach are great. No problem securing beach chairs and umbrella. Food is very good in restaurant but pricey. We didnāt rent a car. Tampa Bay Private Transportation, recommended by hotel, provided transportation to and from airport. Our driver was excellent and right on time both ways. He kept us appraised via text on both trips. Hotel shuttle will take you pretty much anywhere in the area. We loved that! No car hassles. If you are looking for a stress free vacation on a gorgeous beach this is it!

We had 7 days at this beautiful resort and truly enjoyed every minute. It is the quiet that we appreciated and we felt very safe at the resort and the beach area. The services at the beach are wonderful and the staff work hard to deliver to you. I didnāt feel the extra umbrella cost was necessary though on top of the resort fee?!? We never had an issue with service as everyone was very pleasant. Our room was pristine and we appreciated the balcony..gulf front and swimming pool view. Itās not a private balcony but not a deal breaker. We only did the pool once and never checked out the hot tub as we found it to be quite busy with unsupervised kids..no fault of the staff. The security did their job and we did see that on several occasions. The restaurants were great and Tates has great beach side bites. Reservations for Caretta at least the day prior..worth it for sure! If we are to go back to Clearwater it definitely would be the only place we would go ..a beautiful resort that not only offers great service but a private beach are as well.
