We stayed at this hotel for ten nights and found it to be a decent option for the price, though there were a few service hiccups. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons: PROS * Excellent location – Close to shops, malls, and cafés. * Modernized common areas – The lobby is fully updated, and the breakfast café is decent. * Perks included – Free parking and complimentary morning coffee. * Nice amenities – Good pool and well-equipped workout room. * Comfortable rooms – Spacious and fairly well-appointed with minor issues * Not too large – The hotel is a good size, not overwhelming. * Friendly front desk staff – Generally helpful and welcoming. CONS * Inconsistent housekeeping – One day, our room was cleaned but was missing hand towels and even a sheet on the bed. The front desk staff was helpful, providing towels right away and promising that housekeeping would fix the sheet issue—but they never did. Eventually, I had to pick up a sheet later and make the bed. * Service follow-through issues – The exercise room ran out of cups and towels. After I reported it, they did restock, but it took two requests to get the cups refilled. * Room maintenance concerns – While the rooms were OK overall, some fixtures needed attention. The bathroom faucet, shower faucet, and knob were all a bit loose but they all worked. The fridge was noisy so we turned it off. There is no safe or USB plugs. The air conditioning didn’t work on the first night, though they did fix it the next day. FINAL THOUGHTS For about $270 CAD / $190 USD per night, this hotel is on the pricier side for a basic three-star stay, though it’s still far cheaper than higher-end options, which can be double the cost or more. While the location and amenities were solid, the inconsistencies in service and maintenance were a drawback. That said, if you’re looking for a reasonably comfortable and well-located hotel and can tolerate some minor service issues, it’s a decent choice and I can honestly say I have stayed in far worse places!

Just to be clear…I don’t believe that I am the only traveler who has said that sometimes it only takes one thing to make or break an experience. For this hotel (a Hilton btw), it was the coffee or lack there of. They boast a restaurant or coffee shop on premises. What they have is a I’ll managed dive that I would not glorify with the name cafe or eatery. Their hours are 7-10 AM. Ridiculous on it’s on, but when you pair that with the 3 hour window with a late start 2 out of 3 mornings and a complete state of chaos the last morning, just Wow! You would expect a Hilton to be up with the times and have at least a knock off Keurig maker with a couple of k cups but no the awful one cup tray machine is what we had. The room was just ok, the sweet round love seat thing was tattered and stained. Which took up so much room to be so bad. I paid extra to have a balcony over the pool, 1st floor stoop is what we had. It barely fit 2 chairs and our view was a hedge! It was a convenient location but I can’t assure you we will never stay here again!

Lee helped us have a wonderful check in, we had some issues arriving due to car problems, but when we go here Lee greeted us warmly and helped us check in super fast and with ease. There are several things that stand out when arriving at a hotel that you’ve never stayed at before. Accessible parking, the lobby area, cleanliness and the front desk staff. Parking is good, the lobby not much to talk about it’s got an unclean feel about it but not dirty. Staff, well if you’re okay with the front desk person to have his nice white T-shirt on while chowing down breakfast then you have arrived. A very unprofessional look to be sure. The room is ok, seems clean but dated and there is not one USB outlet anywhere in the room so I was lucky to bring a multi USB charger with me or I’d been out of luck. (That’s a definite upgrade needed with today’s electronics). Need ICE for your drinks or cooler, join the hunt for a working or existent machine. Floor 2 ice machine out of service, Floor 3 ice machine non existent, Floor 4 ice machine out of service. Back down to the 1st floor and the magic of a working ice machine materialized. If you need a room and for the night and uncaring about several things this will suffice. If you crave a better experience you might try somewhere else, I know next trip I will.
