I've stay here twice and have enjoyed both stays. I will miss this place with the many fond memories that were created there. The beautiful water view. It is closing in May and will be torn down soon after. I will miss the friendly faces of the staff and the roomy suites.

First I'd like to commend the staff, they were all most helpful and exemplified good customer service. The location of this hotel is perfect for a quick stopover and provides an airport shuttle which is why I booked. The room, well there was much to be desired. I booked a ground level suite and it was obvious the hurricane damage repairs were not done well - there was a heavy musty smell and the line of seawater was clearly visible. The floors were positively filthy and you could not walk barefoot in there without blackening the soles of your feet. The room lacked towels and we unfortunately did not realize it until I had already showered and resorted to a hand towel. The bathtub did not drain at all and was full after two quick showers on our way to the airport Again, the staff were incredible when we voiced our concerns on our way out. Maybe a higher floor and a decent cleaning we would have had a better experience. The airport shuttle is also iffy, on the way in they took a solid half hour to pick me up around the corner. The attendant at the airport told me they were always slow. When we checked in, we requested a ride for the next morning and was told not a problem, just to let us know. When we went back to the lobby in the am - sorry, it's out for an oil change. So Uber it is I don't expect 5 star for $200 at all, but a mopped floor, draining bathtub and it not smelling like an old basement should be expected

For a late arrival into TAMPA INTL it was great less five minutes. We also had an early departure so that too made the location great. We had five different destinations for a Wedding during our six days. We traveled to Maderia Island , Hudson Fl. everything was great. We will stay at this venue on any future visit.

The trip in itself was great! The hotel was ok but could have been better! The suite had a musty moldy smell to it! We had to go to Walmart to get candles n air freshener! The suite had no pots n Pans in there, as it was supposed to, no broom or dustpan! Room service is every three days! The railings along the stairs to get ti the suite were rotten n breaking apart! The front office smelled like mold but looked as if it had just been renovated! If renovation is the case, perhaps their rooms shouldn't be so expensive until they have completed renovations! My check in staff was great n professional but everyone else was horrible! I called front desk for over 4-5 hours n got no answer n from my suite I could clearly see that the staff wasn't busy at all!

We had a very nice stay at Chase Suites, everything you needed was in your suite, full kitchen, large bathroom , comfy bed, beautiful view from our balcony.
