Love this hotel!!! Lorin and Sam were so sweet and helpful. I told them I will be back in 2 weeks and they upgraded me to a high floor. So nice. Hope they will be there next trip. This is my fourth time at the hotel since August!!! This definitely will not be my last trip.

We had an absolutely wonderful time over the St. Patrick's Day weekend. The Front Desk Staff, Monica, Sierra, and Collin were outstanding all weekend!!! Rooms were great and it was so convenient to the downtown festivities! We'll be back!

This was my 3rd stay at this property. We primarily stay at Marriott properties but had such a great experience the first time here that when we are visiting this area, the Melby is our hotel of choice. Nice rooms with a good rooftop bar but the main standout is the staff. Everyone is always extremely nice and helpful. On this visit, Monica and Sierra at the front desk were great and Kali at the rooftop bar was awesome!

Itâs been renovated but you can definitely see remnants of an old hotel. Best part, :the restaurant, worst part: bathroom. Poorly designed shower door causes a massive puddle in the bathroom with each use. Our friend in a different room had the same issue, so itâs not an isolated issue. The engineers came to check it out but there wasnât anything they could do about it. When went through a ton of towels trying to block the leak and also clean it up. Every single time. The issue has been going on based on the rust and hardware build up on the shower framing.

I stayed here the week of Jan 17th, arrived at 11pm, and was greeted by a grumpy old cogger at the front desk not unfrendly. lobby carpet in front of the elevator was fifty in front of the elevator again, Hilton's had little care in appearance. Room 933 was a corner room; floor was dirty, there was little water pressure, two soap dispensers were out, and TV was not working. called down and had the room changed. The grumpy guy at the desk was bothered by my request to change rooms such an a-hole. I was given room 733 again to find a dirty vinyl floor, minimal furniture, and lack any style i had better at a comfort inn. Given the room a room rate of 299 per night, I was disappointed given their photos. This room again had dirty floors in both the bathroom and the main room. drips of filth in bathroom floor and again, no soaps in the dispensers, worst water pressure. Housekeeping in both rooms was shameful. The room also had an odd gap of 1 1/2 on the bottom of the door that leads to the adjoining room causing a large draft and light to come through. They had a single robe hanging on the door, which was most likely used to cover this gap as they could have never thought there would be two people staying in the room, so one robe would suffice for the room . the bedding was thin no blankets or extra padding on the bed or stored in the closet it was 40 degrees outside. I had no choice but to run the extra noisy AC unit that was up and down on temps through the night . The bed was placed 6 inches away from the ac vent the draft was ridiculous worst sleep in a long time . in the Am the ask the unfriendly front desk staff member if they can provide some blankets and clen the floors and fill the sopas . I at least got the blankets. roof top restaurant: this was the main reason i decided to try this hotel was the photos of the rooftop, i arrived to see a sleeping host draped over the podium i wanted to take a photo but did not want to get him introuble. . bored bartender and sparse furniture, stained walls no room energy. I could see the outside would be a nice place to hang out, but not on this evening. I could not wait to leave this place. I did find an English pub 5min walk that a great find as it was lively and fun. I make this trip twice a year to visit my aging family. I would never stay at this property again for 1,000.00. I paid for three days I could do far better somewhere else at least offer free parking in the building not two blocks away shame on you . . Hilton, I donot know what was up during this time, but you need to talk to your staff as they were not friendly, your housekeeping was shameful, and rooms need to be restyled to make one comfortable and safe for to post modern at lest a area rug on the floor. However, I did find the English pub as a lifesaver as I got drunk to get through sleeping off the night in your bed It was that bad. LV
