Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville South I 295 an IHG Hotel

Room was adequate, but nothing fancy. The refrigerator didn't work well and there was no fan in the bathroom. The worst thing was the noise from the interstate. If you stay here, ask for a room on the front side of the building. The breakfast was good, but very carby. It included bacon and biscuits with sausage gravy. Most of the staff were super friendly.

Disappointing. Although clean, my room had the damp, musty smell of a cheap motel room with an air conditioning unit that needs service or replacement. For some reason, the television lacked half its channels and no option to view optional streaming services. Bring your own drinking water as the tap water tasted foul.

We stayed here one night while visiting TPC Sawgrass, the Players. Good location for that event. Large room, great bed, good shower, free parking. Restaurants at walking distance. Simple breakfast included, no alcohol served on site. Not the greatest environment, but good for our purposes. Oh, it is 30-60 min to TPC depending on when you go

DO NOT STAY HERE! I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE! I made the mistake of not reading reviews for this property expecting this to be as good as other HIEx I've stayed at. IT WAS ANYTHING BUT! IT'S DIRTY! Whoever owns and operates this property should be ashamed of themselves! Cleaning is non existent here. Was too late at night for me to find someplace else but thankfully it was just for 1 night. A hotel can be dated and still clean. This is not that place and is just nasty!

This hotel is conveniently located in a small shopping center and easy to find. Check in and check out were fast, and the desk clerk was friendly. The hallway that we stayed on had an awful smell, but we didn't notice it in our room. Our room had a dated feel, and it appeared to have some repairs that could have been done better. The AC/heating unit made an aggravating noise. The breakfast included with our stay was typical of a hotel. Our room was located on the street side and there was a good bit of traffic noise throughout the night. I would not stay here again.
