Courtyard Jacksonville Flagler Center

Having stayed at the Courtyard Flagler Center multiple times I can confidently state this hotel is horribly managed.  I believe the owner chronically understaffs the property which is why it always has subpar service. This is a franchise location and ownership appears to be trading on Marriott's good name to lure unfortunate travelers to this location which they are too cheap to appropriately staff. Don't reward them with your business.  While it is rare to see an actual employee one or two is quite pleasant and competent.  To those employees I would encourage you to invest your time elsewhere, your owner isn't worth your time.   There are multiple better run options surrounding this hotel, pick one of those.

No soap, dirty room and bathroom , dirty wash-clothes …no clean towels even though we asked for towels…. We have to pay for coffee before 7 am :.. one clerk has to get your coffee after you pay for coffee… he can only do one coffee at a time …. no breakfast before 7 am even though it’s recommended for Players championship at Ponte Vedra …. Marriott please pull their franchise… no clean towels….really awful hotel

The hotel was very comfortable and clean and most importantly was dog friendly. It was within walking distance to a restaurant for dinner which was great for us. . Courtyard has a bistro for supper but we wanted something a little more substantial. The bistro was great for breakfast though. Very convenient to major roads. We will definitely stay here in the future.

WARNING STAY AWAY FROM HERE! The old disrespectful man who works over night is the worst employee of any customer service business. Do not ever stay here. He cancelled our room after we had already called 6 hours prior to arrival. He did it because he said someone was waiting. I paid for the room and drove from over 6 hours away. He then proceeded to yell at my wife which I will not allow. He is rude and yelled and locked the door so we could even discuss anything. Refused to apologize even though he is the problem and caused the issues. Terrible experience and I will never stay here in the future. I would recommend you never stay here, unless you like to be disrespected by someone who claims to be in charge. To top it off Marriott corporate says they have to investigate before they can make anything right. So we asked how long that would be and they said at least 5 days. This is crazy from a company of this size. But this location has the worst employee of any business in hospitality.

A very well run Courtyard—-Brian was very helpful and personable. All of the Bistro staff in the morning had a positive attitude and ran a smooth operation! It was a refreshing stay and my suggestion is they train other Courtyards on what a customer experience should be like!! We will be back!
