Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort Myers Airport

The property is conveniently located to the airport and not too far from food and stores. Gulf Coast Towne Center is a few minute drive - nothing is walkable. The room was spacious with 2 beds. Shower was walking no tub. Kitchenette had a microwave, apartment size fridge and a dishwasher. You have to ask for a burner and hope they have one and really hope they have a pan to go with it. There are some utensils in the room, spatula, strainer and toaster. No coffee maker. They offer free coffee and “hot” coco all day and night. I use “hot” loosely as the hot beverages were lukewarm warm at best and breakfast had to be brought back to room and put in microwave - most food was cold. They do not have a heater to keep the food warm. The waffle maker is a nice bonus and is hot - haha lots of topping selections. Each morning toast was scarce but they had bagels. Twice we went down and were told they had run out of muffins. Walls are thin. You can hear your neighbors very easily. Housekeeping came daily. The AC worked well. There is a pool. I don’t believe it is heated as it was cold when we went. This is Florida however so I’m sure the water will warm up over the summer months. Hit and miss with front counter staff. When I asked for our water and what time breakfast was I was met with - didn’t they tell you at check in. So I responded - no and didn’t even thanks us for being Hilton members let alone diamond. Our bathroom light was on the fritz. They did offer to move our room since it couldn’t be fixed. Ice machine is near the elevator. They have complimentary washer / dryers (2 each) and a small kiosk of some items for sale and snacks. This is a nice place for a short stay.

We had an AMAZING stay at Home2 suite. Every SINGLE person provided top notch service. We checked in with milly she was pleasant we chatted with brooke she provided great information and each staff member we encountered met us with a smile. We decided to go to the beach and Milly actually allowed us to use her personal beach chairs which was so nice of her to do! The staff gave great suggestions and kept our room clean. I enjoyed breakfast interestingly enough it was a different set up than I'm used to but they had all the standard complementary breakfast items. Waffles, oatmeal cold cereal bread muffins Bagels eggs variations of potatoes over the days! Tea and coffee options available all day. You are also given a treat bag upon arrival. Our room had a nice fridge and great lighting. Also, milly let us know about the light in the room and how to turn it off to ensure we had an amazing nights rest.

We came down for the Savanah Banana game on Feb 15th. I was disappointed at this new spot. Although close to the baseball park, there were things I did not like. When we checked in, I did not feel the warm and fuzzy. Our room pre chosen in our Hilton Honors app was not ready even after we pre-checked in. While waiting,I observed the following: a sign stating housekeeping was not available on Feb 16th, kids playing in the gym while people were working out...it seemed the one parent was not phased and the hotel staff seemed not to care and the pool was cloudy. I had asked if we could get a pool view, and when I got to the room, clearly no pool view. Our room was warm and the thermostat was not working, so I went back down to inform them, to which they mentioned to use the one by the window. Upon my return, the housekeeping attendant apologized because she walked in on my husband in the bathroom because she was not aware we checked in. I know our bags were in the room close to the bathroom and my son was there, so not sure how she did not realize to step back out, speak up to say hello, and/or even knock. We left because of our engagement, upon return, the pool area/bbq area was left with trash. It is disappointing that even people do not care to clean up after themselves, and hotel staff was limited. I am again disappointed because I have stayed in other Home2 Suites. We checked out and went to another property.

This is our 'go to' hurricane hotel. We have been there for Ian, Idalia, Debbie, Helene and Milton. The staff goes above and beyond customer service. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. If there were more than 5 stars I would give it a 10+.

This hotel is located very close to RSW. When we checked in the staff were very pleasant and personable. Our room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was OK and typical of other Hilton properties. My only issue was that the beds were too firm for my liking and the shower could have used more water pressure - rinsing off took a long time.
