The Ritz Carlton Fort Lauderdale

The hotel was nice, staff was nice, however I had some issues that went unresolved. I asked on two separate occasions for a turn down service, both times I was told they will send someone immediately and both times no one show up. I had an issue with my key card, went down to the front desk to address and had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to help me, the desk was empty.

Amazing staff! A place where everyone remembers my name. They made me feel like a king. This property is right on the beach Amazing service was walking distance of everything. I can’t wait to go back. Pool and hot tub are so clean. Very comfortable beds.

A soulless hotel located at the beach front of Fort Lauderdale. Rooms are as expected from a hotel of this statue and feature everything one would expect: good Internet, decent bathrooms and comfortable beds. The pool side is nice and is served by a couple of motivated associates who are helpful and engaging - the only area of the hotel where this is the case. There is direct access to the beach with a large area for private sunbathing, reserved for guests of the hotel. The Club Lounge is very average - inadequate food which usually runs out and is not replaced. Service here also lacks finesse and overall, the lounge is not impressive. Least impressive however are the Front Desk associates who are not friendly or accommodating. Most of the time we had to wait for service since only one associate would be at the front desk even so there were other associates 'hidden' in the back office who were not called to assist. So, overall, a very average stay.

This hotel is the best I have ever stayed in. The service and employees were so helpful and nice. We only stayed one night before our cruise but everything was beyond our expectations. Only one issue caught me off guard. Went to take a bath and the water came out green. They reassured me it was because they were close to the ocean and it has been tested, which made me feel better but kind of caught me off guard. They were very nice about it.

As for the beach, we definitely made our way across the street and gave it a go... it’s beautiful, but during our visit, there was quite a bit of seaweed. Not uncommon in the region and honestly? Nature does what nature does. We made the most of it with sandcastles, a picnic on our patio, and salty breezes by the pool... and when we wanted a cleaner dip, we just hopped back to the pool. Or cannonballed, if you're Nico. The location is ideal for both exploring and relaxing. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and the in-house dining options are elevated and approachable... exactly what we needed after a long day of sun and parenting. Would I return? Yes, and I’d recommend it to any family looking for a luxe, calm South Florida Workcation spot that lets you toggle between business, beach, and bonding time. The staff was kind, the service was polished, and the vibe was just the right mix of refined and relaxed. Pro tip? Start your day at the pool, pop over to the beach, and leave your schedule open. Some of the best Workcation moments happen in the space between meetings and mojitos.
