Hyatt Place Washington DC Georgetown West End

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place Washington DC/Georgetown/West End and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location is ideal—close to all the major attractions in Washington DC and conveniently near public transportation, which made getting around the city super easy. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but what really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service. I had the privilege of meeting Derek from valet, who was incredibly knowledgeable about navigating the city. His tips and suggestions made our sightseeing experience so much smoother. A special shout-out as well to Onamica at the front desk, who gave us such a warm and friendly welcome upon arrival—it really set the tone for a great stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning a visit to DC. Great location, great staff, and great service all around!

It’s a standard hyatt place that is clean and well maintained. It’s not a new property but it’s well maintained. Nothing fancy but everything is as expected. The front desk staff are super kind and helpful. The general crowd tends to be staying there affiliated with something at Georgetown or families visiting. I like the location bc you can walk to the main shopping area of Georgetown easily but it’s a trek to main attractions in dc.

Perfect stay and location. Steps away from everything you need. Room was clean and big enough for our party of 5. Not cramped at all. I love acai bowls and they have it next door downstairs. Coffee? They have it too. Lady up front Ms. Worke was very engaging and knowledgeable and gave us tips that made our stay elevated.

We originally had booked the Hyatt Place White House location but moved it due to potential protests in the area and the immediate venue next door. It was the best decision. Marina at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful from the start. She corrected our reservation and even gave us an upgrade level room. We had two rooms and used their breakfast which satisfied everyone’s needs. Cookies at the front desk was a delight as well. Everyone at the hotel was courteous and warm, so much we were in awe of their hospitality and will return. Metro is a 10 min walk and Trader Joe’s and many restaurants are near by.

Great check in experience with attentive staff. Thanks to Worke for making us feel welcomed! One of the nicest Hyatt Places I’ve stayed at. Good area of town with lots of food options around within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
